When I made this, everyone asked me for the recipe! It's great served with butter and milk.

Number Of Ingredients 10

½ cup vegetable oil
¾ cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup milk
½ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
3 cups quick cooking oats
½ cup raisins
2 tablespoons brown sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Beat together oil and sugar. Mix in eggs, milk, salt, baking powder, oatmeal. Beat well then stir in raisins. Pour into a lightly grease pie pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Refrigerate overnight.
  • The next morning, preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Bake in preheated oven until firm, about 35 minutes. Serve hot.

3 cups quick-cooking oats
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup milk
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 eggs, lightly beaten
Additional milk

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the first eight ingredients. Spoon into a greased 9-in. square baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 40-45 minutes. Serve warm with milk.

3 cups rolled oats
2 eggs (beaten)
1/4 cup oil
1 cup vanilla-flavored soymilk
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup applesauce (or 1 mashed banana)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Mix together oil, sugar and eggs.
  • Add rest of the ingredients and thoroughly mix together.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes in a greased glass 9 x 12 pan
  • Serve warm and it is delicious topped with milk and bananas or with yogurt, berries, and other fruit.

1/2 cup egg white (4 egg whites)

1 tablespoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Combine dry ingredients.
  • In another bowl combine wet ingredients.
  • add dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Pour into sprayed 9x9 pan.
  • Bake in oven for 60 min or until center is set and firm to the touch.
