This shrimp and cream cheese dip is easy to prepare and always popular. For best results, serve the cream cheese at room temperature and the cocktail sauce well chilled.

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
1 (8 ounce) jar cocktail sauce
½ pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 lime
1 (16 ounce) package buttery round crackers

Steps:

  • Place cream cheese in center of serving platter.
  • Mix together cocktail sauce and shrimp. Pour mixture over cream cheese.
  • Slice lime in half; squeeze one half over cocktail sauce. Slice other half into wedges for garnish.
  • Place crackers and lime wedges around edge of plate and serve.

8 oz package cream cheese (softened)
7 oz jar Jet Puffed marshmallow creme
8 oz container frozen whipped topping (thawed)
21 oz jar cherry pie filling

Steps:

  • Beat together the cream cheese and marshmallow cream until creamy and well blended.
  • Add half the whipped topping and blend well. Add the remaining whipped topping and fold in to maintain the light texture.
  • Transfer the filling to a pie plate or small casserole dish. Spoon cherry pie filling over the top.
  • Serve with assorted dippers like sugar wafers, graham crackers, and/or Nilla wafers.

2 pkg cream cheese
2 c tabouli

Steps:

  • 1. TABOULI 1 cup water 1 cup fine cracked wheat 1 cup minced fresh parsley leaves 1/2 cup minced fresh mint leaves 1/2 cup finely chopped yellow onion 3 tomatoes, diced 2 cucumbers, seeded and diced (optional) 3 tablespoons olive oil 3 tablespoons lemon juice, or to taste 1 teaspoons sea salt Directions In a large mixing bowl, pour the water over the cracked wheat and cover, let stand about 20 minutes until wheat is tender and water is absorbed. Add the chopped herbs and vegetables and toss with the mix. Combine the oil, lemon juice, and salt in a separate bowl. Add to wheat mixture and mix well. Chill. 1 tablespoon butter
4 large sweet onions, sliced
½ pound Swiss cheese, shredded
10 slices Italian bread
¼ cup butter, softened
½ cup milk
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
3 teaspoons soy sauce
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and saute onions until translucent. Transfer onions to a 9x12 inch casserole dish and sprinkle cheese over onions. Spread butter on both sides of the bread, then lay the bread over the cheese.
  • In a medium bowl combine milk, soup, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Mix well and pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate over night.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes.

1 pound hamburger meat
2-4 Tablespoons butter
2 heaping Tablespoons corn starch
1 cup water
1 teaspoon chili powder
sea salt to taste
2 cups heavy cream
10-ounce can diced tomatoes with green chilies (Rotel)
1-2 cups shredded cheddar or colby jack cheese

Steps:

  • Brown the hamburger meat in a large pot.
  • Add butter to the meat, melting it throughout the pot.
  • Sprinkle in corn starch, coating the meat.
  • Pour in water, chili powder, and salt.
  • Turn heat up and stir until the mixture thickens.
  • Add cream, continuing to stir as the mixture thickens. (This all happens quickly in my experience.) Stir in Rotel, heating for about 2 more minutes.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add shredded cheese, stirring until the cheese has melted and the dip is smooth.
