This Dairy Queen Butterfinger Blizzard Copycat Recipe is creamy with that Butterfinger crunch. The process is what makes this taste like the real deal.

3 cups vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup crushed Butterfinger bars

Steps:

  • Place mixing bowl and paddle attachment in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from freezer and add the ice cream. Beat on medium speed for about 30 seconds to one minute - just until the ice cream is creamy. Scrape down the sides as needed.
  • Add the crushed Butterfinger and blend on low speed a few times or until the crushed candy is mixed evenly throughout the ice cream. Serve immediately.

This Easy Homemade Blizzard made with just ice cream, your favorite mix-in(s) and a few key steps for a delicious, thick treat!

6 scoops vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt (or any ice cream flavor)
1/3 cup crushed mix-ins (Oreos, M&M's, Butterfinger, Snickers, Reese's Pieces, peanut butter cups, Nutter Butters, granola, homemade chocolate chip cookies, brownie, cake, cupcake, etc.)

Steps:

  • Place mixing bowl in the freezer for at least 10 minutes before using.
  • Scoop ice cream into the bowl of an electric stand mixer with the paddle attachment. Beat on medium speed until ice cream is creamy, about a minute, scraping down the sides of the bowl with a spatula as needed.
  • Add mix-ins and beat on low speed just a few times until mix-ins are mixed evenly throughout the ice cream.
  • Scoop mixture into serving cups and dig in!

4 BUTTERFINGER® Cup Eggs
8 BUTTERFINGER® Minis
2 tablespoons caramel topping

Steps:

  • Allow ice cream to soften for a few minutes.
  • Chop 2 of the BUTTERFINGER® Cup Eggs and all 8 BUTTERFINGER® Minis.
  • In a medium bowl, combine BUTTERFINGER® Cup Eggs 6pk, BUTTERFINGER® Minis and caramel topping. Mix until well combined.
  • Divide mix into two of your favorite cups or glassware. Top each with 1 BUTTERFINGER® Cup Eggs.
  • Serve immediately.

1 cup candy corn
2/3 cup peanut butter
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon coconut oil

Steps:

  • Microwave candy corn on high for 30 seconds; stir. Cook in 15-second intervals until melted; stir until smooth. Add peanut butter; microwave mixture until smooth, 45-60 seconds, stirring 3 times., Gently shape teaspoonfuls of mixture into balls (if mixture becomes crumbly, reheat for 15-20 seconds). Place on waxed paper; let stand until set. In a microwave, melt chocolate chips and oil; stir until smooth. Dip balls in chocolate mixture, allowing excess to drip off. Place on waxed paper; let stand until set.

Have fun and choose your own flavors by adding in finely chopped Oreo cookies, chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Heath candy bars, Butterfinger candy bars, Smarties, whatever you wish --- all candy or cookies must be chopped and semi-frozen first before placing in the blender --- NOTE; Dairy Queen has a powerful blender/method to make their Blizzard, a conventional home blender may not be quite as thick, if you would like a thicker consistency then place your cup in the freezer for about 6-10 minutes after blending until it reaches the consistency you desire or you may freeze until completely frozen :)

1/3 cup whipping cream (for best results use only whipping cream)
1 -2 teaspoon smucker's fudge sauce

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender.
  • Blend for 20-30 seconds on medium speed.
  • Stop the blender and stir with a long spoon.
