HOT HONEY BUTTER CHICKEN WINGS
These Hot Honey Butter Chicken Wings are cooked to perfection in the air fryer before being tossed in what truly might be the BEST sweet and spicy sauce, EVER! This easy recipe takes just 20 minutes and you'll get the crispiest, juiciest, flavor packed wings every time.

- 1. In a large bowl whisk together olive oil, paprika, onion powder, salt and pepper. Add wings and toss to coat fully. (You can also do this in a ziplock bag.) 2. Heat air fryer to 400°F. Arrange wings in an even layer of air fryer basket. Cook for 12 minutes. 3. While wings are cooking, make hot honey butter sauce. In a medium sized bowl, whisk together Challenge Butter, hot sauce, honey and salt. Taste and add more salt if desired. 4. Once wings have cooked for 12 minutes, open air fryer and generously brush on the hot honey sauce sauce on both sides of the chicken wings. Then cook for 4 more minutes, or until wings are cooked through. 5. Serve immediately with any extra sauce on the side for dipping!

Steps:
- Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat and lightly oil grate.
- Wash the wings well and pat dry with paper towel. Season the meat with cayenne, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the chicken wings on preheated grill until cooked through and juices run clear, 20 to 30 minutes depending on the size of the wings. Brush the wings liberally using 1/2 cup of honey while they are cooking.
- Melt the butter, pour into a large bowl and mix in the remaining 1/2 cup of honey and hot sauce. Remove the wings from the grill and immediately toss them in the hot honey butter sauce to coat. Serve the wings 'wet' or return them to the grill for 1 minute per side to set the sauce.

- Prepare the chicken wings. Lay a piece of wing on the chopping board and cut the joint between the wingette and the drumette. Repeat this step on all chicken wing pieces.
- In a large bowl, add the chicken pieces, egg, salt, ground black pepper, baking powder, garlic powder, cornstarch and all-purpose flour. Use your hands to mix the ingredients well.
- Heat some oil in a pan under low-medium heat. Deep-fry each wing until for 8 to 10 minutes. Flip halfway to cook evenly. Fry until light brown. Set aside and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Turn the heat to medium-high. Double-fry the chicken wings for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown. Transfer in a strainer or in a paper towel to drain excess oil.
