AIR FRYER PORK ROAST RECIPE
The air fryer is great for cooking a pork roast and results in some of the most amazing crackling ever.

Steps:
- Remove the pork from any packaging and dry with some paper towels.
- Score the skin with a sharp knife. Most butchers will do this for you.
- Rub the skin with olive oil and salt.
- Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (390°F).
- Place the pork into the air fryer skin side up.
- Cook for 30 minutes.
- Turn the air fryer down to 180°C (350°F) and cook for 40 minutes.
- Depending on the weight of the pork, you may need to cook it for longer. Add roughly 30 minutes for every extra 500g (1.1 lb). The internal temperature of the pork should be at least 65°C (150°F).
- Allow to rest for ten minutes.
- Serve & Enjoy.

JUICY AIR FRYER ROAST PORK WITH CRISPY CRACKLING
This super juicy pork roast with crispy crackling is one the family will love. Super easy to make and a great alternative method to cooking it in the oven.

Steps:
- Dry your pork with paper towel, score the skin. Then rub table salt over the skin, cover with a tea towel and place in the fridge over night.
- Remove the pork from the fridge to bring up to room tempeture before cooking.
- Cover the pork, including underneath with olive oil. Rub sea salt over the skin making sure it goes into the score marks also. Add some more oil over the top of the skin and a rub another light amount of seat salt over the top.
- Pre heat your air fryer for 2 minutes at 200°C.
- Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spay and place the pork in the basket.
- Cook at 200°C for 20 minutes on the roast setting, then reduce heat to 180°C and cook for 25 minutes per 500gms
- When the pork reaches 68°C remove from the air fryer to rest. Your pork will cook further while resting. Once it reaches 71°C you can carve and serve.

AIR FRYER ROAST PORK

- Wash and pat dry the pork belly.
- Punch lots of holes into the skin of the pork belly using a metal fork. Do not punch the holes too deep.
- Apply the meat rub (mixture of five-spice powder, salt, and pepper) on the sides and the bottom of the pork belly. Avoid the skin.
- Next, brush the pork skin with vinegar. Place the meat on a tray and leave it in the fridge uncovered and allow the skin to dry for a minimum of 12 hours.
- Take out the pork belly from the fridge. Wrap the meat with aluminum foil leaving the skin exposed.
- Place coarse sea salt onto the skin of the pork belly, make sure you cover every part of the skin.
- Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 360F.
- Place the belly into the air fryer and cook for 20 minutes.
- Once done, remove the foil and pork belly from the air fryer. Remove the foil and scrape off the salt from the skin.
- Place the pork belly back into the air fryer basket, skin side facing up. Spray some oil onto the skin.
- Cook for 15 minutes at 400F. Once done, let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.

- Score the rind length ways. Rind can be quite hard to cut through, so you will have to carefully use a sharp knife. Make sure to only cut the rind, and not to cut through to the fat and meat underneath.
- Pat the rind dry with a paper towel, and salt generously. Make sure to rub salt into the cuts you just made. Then, leave the pork roast to rest uncovered in a refrigerator skin side up for around 24 hours. Make sure to have a look at it once or twice while it rests, and wipe off any liquid that appears.
