Keto Chocolate Pie image

Grain free, sugar free, and absolutely loaded with chocolate decadence! This keto chocolate pie is the ultimate chocolate lover's dessert!

1 1/2 cups heavy cream, divided
1 cup sugar free milk chocolate chips
6 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup powdered sweetener
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 tablespoon vanilla
Pinch of salt
Chocolate shavings, raspberries, whipped cream, for garnish
1 3/4 cups almond flour
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/4 cup sweetener
6 tablespoons melted butter

Steps:

  • Stir together all of the crust ingredients until well combined.
  • Press firmly into a 9-inch pie plate.
  • Place in the freezer while making the filling.
  • Add 1 cup of cream to a small sauce pan and heat until the edges are just bubbling.
  • Add the chocolate chips to a small bowl and pour the hot cream over the chocolate chips. Stir continuously until the chocolate chips have melted. Set aside.
  • Add the cream cheese to a large mixing bowl and beat with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  • Add the remaining 1/2 cup of cream along with the rest of the ingredients and mix on low speed until well incorporated.
  • Increase speed to high and beat until light and fluffy.
  • Add the cooled melted chocolate to the bowl and beat on low speed until combined.
  • Spread mixture into the prepared crust.
  • Refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight.

Low-Carb Keto Chocolate Pie made dairy-free, grain-free and sugar-free.

2 large ripe avocados
1 (15-oz) can full fat coconut milk
3/4 cup raw cacao powder
1 cup Truvia®Confectioners Sweetener
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 Tbsp instant coffee granules, optional
2 cups raw almonds, or nut of choice
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
1/2 cup Truvia®Confectioners Sweetener
1/2 tsp sea salt

Steps:

  • Add all ingredients for the pie crust to a food processor and process until a thick, sticky dough forms. Note: You may need to stop the food processor a couple of times to scrape the sides in order to help it out. If your mixture isn't easily forming a dough mixture, add 1 to 2 more tablespoons of coconut oil.
  • Transfer the crust mixture to a parchment-lined 8-inch springform pie pan and press it into an even layer. Set aside until ready to use.
  • Add all of the ingredients for the chocolate filling to a blender and blend until completely smooth. Taste the filling for flavor and add more sea salt, sweetener, and/or cacao powder to taste.
  • Pour the chocolate pie filling over the prepared pie crust and smooth into an even layer.
  • Freeze the pie for at least 3 hours, until it has completely set up.
  • When ready to serve, thaw the pie at room temperature (if it has been in the freezer for 6 to 24 hours or longer), or in the refrigerator (if it has been in the freezer for less than 6 hours).
  • Slice and serve with whipped cream (you can serve with dairy-free homemade coconut milk whipped cream to keep the whole recipe dairy-free).
