- NOTE: PREPARE EXACTLY AS DIRECTED. USE LARGE ELBOW MACARONI.
- INTO 1 1/8 cups of milk, whisk in the nonfat dry milk, cornstarch, mustard powder, seasoning salt and white pepper.
- CUT Velveeta Original cheese into 1/2-inch cubes.
- SHRED 1/2 cup cheddar cheese.
- COOK (boil) macaroni according to package directions.
- DRAIN macaroni and return to pot.
- ADD the remaining ingredients except cheddar cheese and stir over medium heat.
- STIR mixture often without letting mixture boil (reduce heat if this happens), until thickened and glossy in appearance.
- ADD the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
- SERVE immediately and enjoy.

Steps:
- In a pot bring water to a boil with salt to taste, once the water comes to a boil add the macaroni and cook for 12 to 15 minutes.
- When the noodles are cooked drain but do not rinse.
- To make the cheese sauce in a pan over low heat combine the Velveeta cheese,shredded cheddar and the milk.
- Cook the cheeses till they are melted and then add the salt.
- Add the noodles and mix through.
- Place in a casserole dish and bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
- You may want to broil the top to make a brown top.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Bring a large pot water to a boil with salt.
- Boil noodles until al dente, drain and set aside (reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water in case you need to thin up the sauce)
- Melt butter in a large sauce pan over medium heat.
- Whisk in flour and mix continuously for about 4-5 minutes over low heat.
- Slowly pour in the cream and whole milk and stir the whole time until it starts to thicken over low heat.
- Mix in the combination of cheeses until the cheese starts to melt and become creamy and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- If it becomes too thick, thin the sauce with a little bit of the reserved water.
- Mix in the macaroni noodles.
- Pour mixture into a large baking dish.
- Top with additional shredded cheddar cheese.
- Cook for five minutes.
- After five minutes, cook on a low broil for two minutes.
- Remove from oven and mix together so crispy cheese on top is incorporated throughout the dish
