LAURA'S TAHINI COOKIES
I made these up myself and they're really good! They're a bit like Turkish halva but not as sweet and very easy to make!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a cookie sheet.
- In a medium bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Stir in the egg, then add the tahini and honey, mixing until well blended. Sift together the flour, cinnamon, and cloves, and stir them into the creamed mixture.
- Drop dough 1 tablespoon at a time onto the prepared cookie sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove and cool on wire racks.

- In the bowl of a standing mixer fitted with a paddle attachment (but you can do this in a regular bowl with a spatula and whisk) cream together the butter and both kinds of sugar and mix for a minute until well combined.
- Add the vanilla, tahini and egg and mix until thoroughly combined (you might need to scrape the sides of the bowl with a spatula) then add the dry ingredients and chocolate chips, mix until a cookie dough forms, then place in a bowl, cover and refrigerate a minimum of 3 hours or overnight.
- Take the cookie dough out of the fridge about 15 minutes before baking then preheat your oven to 350 degrees, line a couple baking sheets with parchment paper.
