EASY LEMONADE (MADE WITH FRESH + BOTTLED LEMON JUICE)

3/4 cup sugar
8 1/2 cup water, divided
1 cup lemon juice

Steps:

  • Make the simple syrup: Combine sugar plus 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Heat and stir until sugar is fully dissolved (you'll know it's dissolved when the liquid looks clear).
  • Combine the simple syrup and lemon juice in a 2-quart pitcher.
  • Add 8 cups of cold water.
  • Chill before serving (or serve over ice).

Number Of Ingredients 3

1 ¾ cups white sugar
8 cups water
1 ½ cups lemon juice

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Allow to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate until chilled.
  • Remove seeds from lemon juice, but leave pulp. In pitcher, stir together chilled syrup, lemon juice and remaining 7 cups water.

4 cups fresh lemon juice (about 24 lemons), strained
8 cups water
1 cup sugar
Ice, for serving
3 lemons, thinly sliced, for serving

Steps:

  • Pour the strained lemon juice into a large container. Add water and sugar, then stir until the sugar dissolves. Pack in an insulated drink cooler or Thermos. Serve the lemonade in glasses over ice garnished with a lemon slice. Makes 3 quarts without ice.
