1 cup prepared yellow mustard
½ cup granular no-calorie sucralose sweetener (e.g., Splenda ®)
¾ cup cider vinegar
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon ground white pepper
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring

Steps:

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, stir together the mustard, sweetener, cider vinegar, chili powder, black pepper, white pepper, and cayenne pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Stir in the soy sauce, butter, and liquid smoke; simmer for 10 more minutes. Cool completely, and refrigerate overnight to blend flavors before using.

⅓ cup apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon gluten-free Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon fish sauce
1 tablespoon hickory-flavored liquid smoke
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon mustard
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon ground turmeric
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 ½ cups water
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste

Steps:

  • Whisk together tomato paste, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, fish sauce, liquid smoke, paprika, smoked paprika, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, cinnamon, and water in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat. Bring to a boil while stirring frequently, then reduce heat to a simmer.
  • Stir frequently and let simmer, uncovered, until desired thickness is achieved, about 20 minutes. Season with cayenne pepper. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.

1 tablespoon liquid smoke
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Combine ingredients and simmer covered for about 20 minutes.
  • Cool mixture and refrigerate until needed.

1 1/2 cups sugar-free spaghetti sauce (Hunts brand recommended)
1 (12 ounce) can diet pepsi (or other diet cola)
1/4 cup no-sugar-added ketchup (Heinz brand recommended)
1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 pinch ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
2 teaspoons TABASCO® brand Chipotle Pepper Sauce
hot sauce (to taste, Frank's brand recommended)
xanthan gum

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients and simmer 20 minutes.
  • While whisking sauce, sprinkle xanthan gum in and whisk well. Add xanthan until the sauce has reached the desired thickness.
  • Alternatively, you can use an immersion blender while adding the xanthan gum to get a completely smooth sauce.
  • Refrigerate for storage.

LOW-CARB BBQ SAUCE – KETOLOGIC
Add the erythritol, apple cider vinegar, and water to a saucepan. Heat over medium heat until the erythritol has dissolved. Add remaining ingredients. Stir to blend and increase heat until the sauce boils. Reduce heat to simmer for 15-20 minutes. Add more water if needed to get the desired consistency. Prep Time: 5 minutes.
