NO SUGAR ADDED APPLE CAKE
Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 325 and prep a pan for nonstick
- Mix together your apples, nuts, cinnamon, and vanilla. Set this bowl aside.
- In another bowl, beat together the liquid, oil, and the eggs. Set this aside
- Now in a mixing bowl, combine together the sugar alternative and the Carbquick. You can sift this or use the method of your choice.
- Slowly pour half of the contents from the wet bowl into the dry ingredient mixing bowl.Mix gently and then add the remainder.
- Fold in the contents from the first bowl (apples etc) into the mixing bowl by hand. Bake this for an hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray an 8x4 inch loaf pan with cooking spray.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Set aside.
- Beat the eggs until light and add sugar twin. Add applesauce and vanilla.
- Add flour mixture and beat until smooth. Fold in raisins.
- Pour batter into loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about an hour, or until a toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Spray an 8" springform pan with vegetable cooking spray.
- In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat oil and molasses with an electric mixer on high speed for one minute.
- Add egg and vanilla and blend on high speed 30 seconds.
- Add Splenda and beat until smooth.
- Add flour mixture, grated apple, and apple butter. Mix until blended.
- Spread batter evenly in pan and bake for 30 minutes.
- Cool on wire rack.
- Remove springform sides from bottom.
- Serve warm.
LOW-SUGAR APPLE TART RECIPE BY TASTY

- Make the crust: In a food processor, blend the oats into a coarse powder.
- Add the butter to a medium saucepan over medium heat and cook until nutty brown in color, 5-6 minutes. Once the butter has browned, add the ground oats, flour, salt, and water, and mix to combine. Let cool for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the crust mixture to a 9-inch (20 cm) tart pan, spreading evenly across the bottom and up the sides. Chill for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375˚F (190˚C).
- Make the filling: Place the apples in a large microwave-safe bowl and squeeze the lemon juice over, then toss to coat. Microwave for 4 minutes. Cover with a plate and let steam for 5 minutes.
- Season the apples with the cinnamon and nutmeg, and toss to coat.
- Spread the applesauce over the bottom of the crust.
- Starting from the outside and working inward, arrange the apples in the pan in a circular pattern with the curved side up. Begin with the larger slices, overlapping slightly, and continue until the entire crust is filled. Brush the apples with the melted butter.
- Bake for 1 hour, checking occasionally. If the edges are browning too quickly, cover gently with foil to prevent further browning as the tart cooks through.
- If using, microwave the apricot jam for 20-30 seconds to melt. Use a pastry brush to paint the apricot jam over the warm tart for a nice, shiny finish.
- Let the tart cool to room temperature before slicing and serving.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter three 5 3/4-by-3 1/4-inch nonstick straight-sided mini loaf pans. Peel, core, and cut apples into 1/4-inch-thick wedges; transfer to a medium bowl. Add spices and granulated sugar; toss. Arrange in a line down center of pans so that apples stand upright.
- Whisk brown sugar, flour, and salt in a large bowl. Add egg and butter; whisk until just combined. Stir in walnuts. Pour batter over apples in pans. Smooth top.
- Bake until tops are deep golden brown and a cake tester inserted into centers comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool slightly in pans on wire racks, about 25 minutes. Run a knife around edges of cakes to loosen, and turn out each onto a large plate. Using a serrated knife, cut each cake into 6 slices, and serve.
LOWER SUGAR APPLESAUCE CAKE
This is a lower sugar version than others that I have come across. I think it tastes just as good as the full sugar version.

- Combine flour, spices, and leveling ingredients in a large bowl. Set aside.
- Combine 1/2 cup butter and sugar in another bowl. Beat until combined. Add eggs 1 at a time beating well after each addition.
- Add in the applesauce,milk, and vinegar to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Fold the wet mixture into the dry incorporating well.
- Spread out into a greased 13x9 cake pan and bake for 35 minutes at 350°F
- When cake is cool make the frosting. In a saucepan melt the 1/3 cup of butter. Watch until it begins to brown, once a nutty color remove from heat and pour into a bowl.
- Add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla and beat until smooth. Spread on top of cake and serve.
