MARTINI MASHED POTATO BAR
This is a fun dish for a party. Make as many toppings as you can think of,the more the better! These are just ones I can think of but use your imagination and serve what you and your family likes. I made this for the 4th yesterday,it was a hit! ( not all of these toppings!) Everyone had a great time making up their favorite concoctions. Everyone had fun, I had requests to do that again,and I will,I've got more potato topping ideas. You could also do this with baked potatoes instead of mashed.

Steps:
- Wash potatoes. Peel,slice ,steam until tender. Using a hand mixer, ricer or potato masher,mash potatoes until smooth,season with salt,pepper,and butter. Add cream to make soft and creamy,stir well to mix and mash out any lumps. I put the potatoes in a chafing dish to keep hot or you could scoop potatoes in a martini glass or a bowl and provide bowls of toppings for guests to make their own. I put the martini glasses next to the potatoes ,then the toppings and made one dish so my guests got the idea of what to do and they took it from there!
