These are fantastic for both a super bowl party or a luncheon tea. They are addictive, so be sure to make an extra batch.

- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- In a small mixing bowl, combine onion flakes, mustard, poppy seeds and margarine.
- Split each dinner roll. Make a sandwich of the ham and cheese and the dinner rolls. Arrange the sandwiches on a baking sheet. Drizzle the poppy seed mixture over the sandwiches.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until cheese has melted. Serve these sandwiches warm.

HAM, CHEESE & MUSHROOM TURNOVERS
A puff pastry turnover is always a good way of using leftovers - adapt the recipe to whatever cheese you've got

- The first thing to do is to make a thick white sauce that will be the base of the turnover filling. Bring the milk to a simmer, then add the butter and flour paste. Whisk the paste into the simmering milk and allow it to boil for 3-4 mins, whisking gently all the time to prevent it from catching. You should now have a very thick white sauce. Cool the sauce in a bowl. Fry the mushrooms in the oil for 3-5 mins until golden, then leave to cool.
- Place the ham, cheese and mushrooms into a bowl, then gradually add the white sauce until everything is well coated. Finally, add the herbs.
- Roll out the pastry on a floured surface to about the thickness of a £1 coin and cut out 4 saucer-size rounds (about 18cm wide), re-rolling the trimmings if you need to. Brush the edges of each round with beaten egg. Spoon the mixture onto 1 side of each round, then fold over and seal the edges well. The turnovers can now be frozen for up to 1 month. Brush the turnover with the remaining egg, then chill for 30 mins.
- Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Place the turnovers on a baking sheet and bake for about 35 mins until puffed up and golden. Leave to cool slightly and enjoy warm.

These turnovers can be assembled, wrapped tightly, and then refrigerated up to 12 hours in advance. Once cooked, they will last for up to 5 days in the refrigerator if sealed tightly in bags or containers. Reheat in 350 F oven until warm.

- Roll the pizza dough into a 14 inch circle and cute into 8 triangles.
- Stack a piece of ham, cheese, and onion on the bottom of each triangle and roll the dough up around the filling. (Some of the filling will stick out the ends.).
- Transfer the rolls to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake until golden and crisp; about 20 minutes.

- On a floured surface roll 1 pastry sheet into a 16 inch square, and cut into 4 inch squares.
- Mix the pineapple preserves with the curry power and spread in each square leaving a 1/4 inch border. Divide the cheese and ham over the spread in each square.
- Brush the edges with the beaten egg and fold into triangles. Seal edges with a fork and brush with egg mixture.
- Preheat oven.
- Bake at 400 F on an ungreased baking sheet 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Mine baked a bit faster so I would keep an eye on them after 8 minutes.

- Place dough on a lightly floured work surface; cover and let stand until butter is slightly softened, 5 to 10 minutes.
- Roll dough out to a 10-by-18-inch rectangle. Cut rectangle in half crosswise. Wrap one half with plastic wrap and transfer to refrigerator. Place remaining half on a large (about 18-by-25-inch) piece of parchment paper. Roll into a 16-by-20-inch rectangle, stopping to chill dough as necessary if butter becomes too soft; transfer to a large baking sheet and cover with plastic wrap. Transfer baking sheet to refrigerator and chill until firm, about 30 minutes. Repeat process with remaining piece of dough.
- Transfer one piece of dough to a lightly floured work surface so that one of the longer sides is facing you. Halve dough to make two 16-by-10-inch rectangles.
- Using a pizza cutter, trim a scant 1/8 inch from all sides of each rectangle of dough. Working quickly, using pizza cutter to cut each half into 1 1/2-by-3-inch rectangles. You should have about 60 rectangles.
- Place 1 slice ham in the center of each dough rectangle; top each with a slice of cheese. Starting from one short end and working toward the other, roll to enclose. Brush edges with water and gently press to adhere.
- In a small bowl, whisk egg together with 1 teaspoon water. Line baking sheets with parchment paper; place rectangles on prepared baking sheets, seam-side down, leaving room for croissants to rise. Brush tops with egg mixture, reserving remaining egg mixture. Place 3 narrow drinking glasses upside-down between each roll of dough; cover well with plastic wrap, making sure plastic does not touch dough. Let stand in a warm place until doubled in size and feel hollow when gently touched, 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Uncover and remove glasses from baking sheets; brush croissants lightly with remaining egg mixture (reserving remaining for second piece of dough). Transfer to oven and bake until puffed and golden, about 15 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool. Repeat steps 3 through 8 with remaining piece of refrigerated dough.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Once the butter has melted, whisk in the flour, creating a roux. Allow the roux to cook for 1-2 minutes. Whisk in the milk, nutmeg, salt and pepper. The roux will thicken as it cooks into a bechamel. Once it becomes thick enough to coat the back of a spoon, take off the heat. Set aside.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry until 1/8 inch thick. Cut one sheet of puff pastry into 3 equal pieces longwise. Cut each piece in half crosswise, creating 6 equal pieces. Line a baking sheet with a piece of Reynolds Wrap® Aluminum Foil. Place the pastry on the lined baking sheet and brush the edges of the pastry with the egg wash.
- On one half of the piece of puff pastry, sprinkle 1 tablespoon of cheese and top with a slice of country ham. Spread 1 tablespoon of the bechamel over the ham. Repeat with another layer of cheese and ham, and finish with one tablespoon of bechamel. Fold the remaining half of the pastry over the filling. Crimp with edges with the tines of a fork. Brush the tops with the egg wash. Cut slits on the top of the pastry to allow the steam to escape the hand pie as it bakes. Repeat with the rest of the pastry.
- Bake the hand pies for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown on top. Immediately place on a wire rack to cool.
