I didn't want regular rice krispies treats, so I played around a little bit. It's a little rich but really good

Ingredients

3 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 tablespoon instant coffee
4 cups marshmallows
6 cups Rice Krispies
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted

Steps:

Melt butter in a large pan on low.
Mix vanilla, almond, and instant coffee together until coffee is dissolved then add to melted butter.
Add marshmallows and melt completely.
Remove from heat and add rice krispies cereal and mix until it is all combined.
Fold in chips.
Place mixture in a greased 13x9 pan.
Drizzle the melted chocolate chips.
Let cool.
Cut and enjoy.

3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon instant coffee
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 (10 ounce) package marshmallows
6 cups crisp rice cereal
1/4 cup white chocolate chips or 1/4 cup candy coating, melted

Steps:

Melt butter in large saucepan on low heat.
Add instant coffee and vanilla, stir well.
Add marshmallows; cook until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Add cereal; mix well.
Press firmly into greased 13x9-inch pan.
Cool completely.
Cut into approximately 26 1x4.5-inch bars.
Melt white chocolate chips and drizzle over bars. Allow to chocolate to cool and harden.

cooking spray
½ cup unsalted butter
½ cup sweetened condensed milk
1 (10 ounce) package miniature marshmallows
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon fine sea salt
6 cups crispy rice cereal (such as Rice Krispies®)
1 pinch Sea Salt, gray

Steps:

Grease an 8x8x2-inch pan with cooking spray.
Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add sweetened condensed milk. Stir with a rubber spatula until butter and milk are uniformly combined and small bubbles are forming in the center of the mixture, about 2 minutes. (When you first begin stirring they will look separated.) Add the bag of marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth. Add vanilla extract and salt and stir again. Remove from heat.
Stir rice cereal and remaining cup of marshmallows into the pot to combine. Transfer to the prepared pan and press down lightly with a sheet of plastic wrap; don't pack them down too hard or they will lose their inherently soft and gooey texture. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
Let set up on the counter for at least 1 hour. Cut into 16 squares.
