3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup oatmeal
2 tablespoons sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup pecans, chopped
1/2 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup water
2 tablespoons corn syrup
2 tablespoons strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
1 quart strawberry, sliced

Steps:

  • To makethe pie crust, mix together the first six ingredients and press into a 9-inch pie plate. Bake in a 400F oven for 12 minutes, let cool.
  • In a saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch. Add water and corn syrup. Cook and boil for 2 minutes. Add Jello powder. Cool for 10 minutes. Arrange cut strawberries in the cooled crust. Cover with the filling and chill for 4 hours or overnight.
  • Top with whipped cream before serving.

1 cup water
3 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
1 cup sugar
1 graham cracker pie crust
2 quarts fresh strawberries

Steps:

  • In small sauce pan combine water, corn starch, jello, sugar. Stirring constantly till becomes very thick. About 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Wash and remove stems from strawberries. Dry very well.
  • Add strawberries to pie crust pour mixture over strawberries covering making sure every strawberry is covered.
  • Place in refrigerator till ready to serve.

This is my favorite pie. It is very easy to make. I got the recipe many years ago in North Jersey. It is from the Sussex County Strawberry Farms.

1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked
1 quart fresh strawberries
1 cup white sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
¾ cup water
½ cup heavy whipping cream

Steps:

  • Arrange half of strawberries in baked pastry shell. Mash remaining berries and combine with sugar in a medium saucepan. Place saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water. Gradually stir cornstarch mixture into boiling strawberry mixture. Reduce heat and simmer mixture until thickened, about 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour mixture over berries in pastry shell. Chill for several hours before serving. In a small bowl, whip cream until soft peaks form. Serve each slice of pie with a dollop of whipped cream.

1 (8 inch) pie crusts, baked
1 cup whipping cream
3 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 pinch salt
1 pint strawberry, divided
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 pinch salt
1/3 cup water
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon red food coloring

Steps:

  • STRAWBERRY TOPPING.
  • Wash and halve strawberries.
  • Whisk together the sugar, cornstarch and salt in a medium saucepan.
  • Add the water, lemon juice and red food coloring. Cook over medium high heat until the mixture starts to thicken, stirring frequently.
  • Add half of the strawberries and cook until mixture is thickened.
  • Add remaining strawberries and remove from heat.
  • Cool completely before putting on top of cream filling in pie shell.
  • CREAM FILLING.
  • While strawberry filling cools, whip the whipping cream.
  • In separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla and salt.
  • Fold in the whipped cream and spread in the bottom of the cooled pie shell.
  • Once the strawberry filling has cooled, gently put it on top of the cream filling.

1 sheet refrigerated pie crust
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup water
1 package (3 ounces) strawberry gelatin
4 cups sliced fresh strawberries
Whipped cream, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450°. Unroll crust into a 9-in. pie plate. Trim edge. Line unpricked crust with a double thickness of heavy-duty foil or parchment. Bake 8 minutes. Remove foil; bake 5 minutes longer. Cool on a wire rack., In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch and water until smooth. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until thickened, about 2 minutes. Remove from the heat; stir in gelatin until dissolved. Refrigerate until slightly cooled, 15-20 minutes., Meanwhile, arrange strawberries in the crust. Pour gelatin mixture over berries. Refrigerate until set. If desired, serve with whipped cream.
