Need pizza in a flash? Stuck in a dorm room with just a microwave? Feeling lazy? We have the perfect 60-second pizza recipe that tastes almost like the real thing. The secret? Canned biscuits!

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 unbaked canned biscuit
2 tablespoons marinara sauce
1 pinch of garlic powder
2 pinches dried basil, divided
2 tablespoons shredded mozzarella cheese
8 mini pepperonis

Steps:

  • Add the biscuit to a microwave-safe mug. MIcrowave for 30 seconds, until the biscuit starts to puff up.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the marinara sauce, garlic powder, and a pinch of basil.
  • Spoon the sauce over the par-cooked biscuit, then top with the mozzarella and mini pepperoni.
  • Loosely cover the mug with a paper towel and microwave for 30-45 seconds more, until the cheese is melted and the biscuit is cooked through.
  • Top with another pinch of basil, then let the mini pizza cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
  • Enjoy!

1 package gluten-free pizza dough or gluten-free English muffins or bagels
3/4 cup shredded cheese blend (✅)
1/4 cup pizza sauce (✅)
pepperoni, sausage, peppers, tomatoes, or toppings of choice (✅)

Steps:

  • Prep the crust. Flatten the pizza crust. Select a microwave safe wide bottomed coffee mug, ramekin, or small bowl and flip upside down on the corner of the pizza crust. Trace around the outside of the mug with a knife.
  • Make the pizza. Place the pizza crust or English muffin into the bottom of the mug. Place pizza sauce on top of raw dough. Sprinkle with cheese and toppings.
  • Cook. Microwave for 1 minute.

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon pizza sauce
2 tablespoons shredded whole milk mozzarella
6 mini pepperoni slices

Steps:

  • Combine the flour, oregano, baking powder, baking soda, salt and garlic powder in a microwave-safe mug. Add the olive oil and 3 tablespoons water and stir until a lumpy batter comes together.
  • Pour the pizza sauce on top of the batter. Sprinkle the cheese on top, followed by the pepperoni slices.
  • Cook in the microwave until the cheese is melted and the dough is crispy around the edges, about 1 minute and 30 seconds. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
