1 tablespoon Creole-style seasoning
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
1 ½ pounds fresh shrimp, shelled and deveined without tails
¼ cup Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, combine butter, Creole seasoning, black pepper, and teriyaki sauce. When butter is hot add the shrimp and simmer for 5 minutes or until shrimp are pink throughout.
  • Spoon the shrimp on top of the pasta and sprinkle each serving with Parmesan cheese.

1 clove garlic, finely chopped

4 oz shiitake mushrooms, sliced
1 lb uncooked large shrimp, peeled, deveined
1 to 1 1/2 cups dry white wine (such as Sauvignon Blanc)
Salt to taste
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Cook and drain spaghetti as directed on package.
  • Meanwhile, in large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of the butter over medium heat. Cook garlic and pepper flakes in butter 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add mushrooms; cook 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned. Stir in shrimp; cook about 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until shrimp are almost pink. Add wine and remaining 2 tablespoons butter; heat to simmering.
  • Add cooked spaghetti to skillet; toss with shrimp mixture. Season with salt. Cook 1 minute longer until shrimp are pink. Sprinkle with parsley.

1 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 pinch salt to taste
1 pinch dried basil, or to taste
1 pinch paprika, or to taste
1 (8 ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cup half-and-half
¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ (16 ounce) package dry fettuccine pasta
1 pinch red pepper flakes, or to taste

Steps:

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Immediately add shrimp and garlic; cook until shrimp is pink, 3 to 4 minutes. Sprinkle salt, basil, and paprika over shrimp. Cook and stir for 1 minute more, leaving shrimp slightly undercooked to finish cooking in the sauce.

1 pint heavy whipping cream
1 ¼ cups butter, divided
¾ cup grated Romano cheese

1 large onion, chopped
8 ounces diced mushrooms
1 (8 ounce) package frozen shrimp, deveined and tails removed, thawed

6 ounces spaghetti
2 teaspoons butter
4 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
2 tablespoons flour
1 1/4 cups low-fat milk
1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
1/4 cup dry white wine
5 ounces cooked shrimp, deveined, peeled
parmesan cheese, to garnish

Steps:

  • Cook spaghetti as directed. Try to time it so you will be done the sauce and can add the spaghetti while it's still hot. NEVER rinse your pasta.
  • In the meantime, heat butter over medium heat and saute mushrooms and garlic for 5 minutes. Sprinkle mushrooms with flour and stir. Add milk and stir until there are no lumps. Lightly simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  • Season to taste with seasoning salt and pepper. Add wine and shrimp until shrimp is warm.
  • Add spaghetti, stir to coat, top with parmesan cheese and enjoy with your loved one! ;).

8 ounces mushrooms
1 bunch scallion
1/2 lb spaghetti
1 egg
1/2 cup half-and-half or 1/2 cup light cream
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional)
4 teaspoons anchovy paste (optional)
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  • Shell and devein the shrimp. Slice the mushrooms and coarsely chop the scallions.
  • Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook until al dente, 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in a serving bowl, beat the egg. Stir in the half-and-half, Parmesan cheese, parsley, anchovy paste, mustard and pepper. Set aside.

A delicious and easy pasta dish that you can substitute chicken for the shrimp if you are not a fan. You can also use a different shape of pasta, but linguine is nice. The optional ingredients are really good but you can omit if you can't stand a little heat. If I use all those ingredients, I find it a little hot, so I add about 1/2 cup half and half cream. I tried to keep it healthy here though! Enjoy!
