3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 (8 ounce) can Pillsbury® refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
⅓ cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon apple pie spice

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Line cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper. Set aside.
  • In small bowl, toss apple slices in melted butter; set aside. Separate dough into 8 triangles.
  • In small bowl, mix brown sugar and apple pie spice. Divide mixture evenly among triangles. Top each triangle with apple slice. Starting at long side of each triangle, wrap dough around apple. Place on cookie sheet. Brush with remaining butter.
  • Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until crescents are deep golden brown and apples are softened. Cool 5 minutes before serving.

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Line cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper, or grease cookie sheet. Set aside.

1 cup chopped walnuts
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 can (21 ounces) apple pie filling, chopped
TOPPING:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup cold butter
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Unroll crescent dough into an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan; seal seams and perforations. Bake at 375° for 10 minutes., Combine the walnuts, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg; sprinkle over crust. Spread with pie filling. , In a small bowl, combine flour and brown sugar; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in coconut and walnuts. 5 cups thinly sliced apples
2 tablespoons lemon juice
¼ cup water
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup rolled oats
1 cup packed brown sugar
¾ teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 pinch salt
½ cup butter, softened
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Toss apples with lemon juice and water in a shallow 2 quart baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar, nutmeg, and salt. Mix to blend thoroughly. Cut in the butter or margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Mix in walnuts. Crumble over apples to cover completely.
  • Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until top is lightly browned. Serve warm or at room temperature.

12 Rhodes White Dinner Rolls , thawed but still cold
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 medium apples, peeled and grated
ICING
1 cup powdered sugar
4 to 8 teaspoons milk
1 teaspoon almond or vanilla extract
finely chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Combine 3 rolls together and flatten into a 10-inch circle. Repeat 3 more times with other rolls. In a small bowl combine sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle sugar mixture over each circle and top with nuts and apple. With a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut each circle into 8 wedges. Roll each wedge up from wide edge and place, pointed side down, on a sprayed baking sheet. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise 30-45 minutes. Remove wrap and bake at 350°F 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and immediately place on cooling rack. For icing combine sugar, milk and extract until smooth. Drizzle over twists and top with finely chopped pecans.

1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
4 medium tart apples, peeled and quartered
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup raisins, optional
1/4 cup butter, melted

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°. Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into 16 triangles. Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle about 1/2 teaspoon on each triangle. Place an apple quarter near the short side and roll up. Place in a lightly greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan., Press walnuts and raisins if desired into top of dough. Drizzle with butter. 2 teaspoons fast rising yeast
2 cups white strong bread flour
1 1/2 tablespoons dried powdered milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 lemon, zest of, finely grated
1/4 cup soft unsalted butter
1/3 cup warm water, plus
1 tablespoon warm water
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup chopped roasted/salted cashew nuts
1/2 cup powdered sugar (optional)
1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)

Steps:

  • Place ingredients into bread maker following the order in your machine instructions; If you have a raisin dispenser put the raisins and cashews in it, or add when instructed by machine beeps
  • Roll out risen dough onto a floured surface into a circle, approximately 14-15" across, cut into 8-10 pie shaped pieces
  • Take a piece of dough and starting at rounded end roll dough towards point
  • Place on pan, point underneath, cover leave to rise until doubled
  • Bake at 400º for 14-18 minutes until golden
  • If making by hand, place the yeast, flour and water into a bowl; Stir this with a wooden spoon, stir in milk powder, sugar, egg, lemon rind and soft butter; When mixed, add the raisins and chopped cashews, then knead for about 5 minutes; Leave to rise until dough is doubled; Follow rolling/baking instructions
