A roast never had a better sauce than this tiger dill sauce!

Number Of Ingredients 3

1 cup sour cream
¼ cup prepared horseradish
2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill (or 2 teaspoons dry dill weed)

Steps:

  • In a small bowl combine all ingredients and mix well.
  • Store refrigerated in an air-tight container for at least 4 hours before serving. Ideally, allow the flavors to mix together for a day or two before serving.

This Creamed Horseradish Dill Sauce Recipe is a copycat version of the Tiger Dill Sauce served at Outback Steakhouse restaurants.

1/2 cup horseradish (fresh grated)
1/2 cup cream (heavy: 36 to 40% milk fat)
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dill

Steps:

  • Place 1/2 cup fresh grated horseradish , 1/2 cup heavy cream, and 1/8 teaspoon salt into the bowl of a small food processor fitted with the metal blade. Pulse until thickened to the consistency of stiff whipped cream. (Do not over-beat or you will end up with butter.)
  • Scrape into a small bowl and fold in 1 teaspoon dill weed . Refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight to let the flavors meld.
  • Serve with Garlic Herb-Crusted Prime Rib Roast

1/2 cup chili sauce (such as Heinz or Del Monte- this is NOT the same as Thai Chili or Cock Sauce)
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
2 teaspoons lemon juice

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl or mini food processor. Blend well.
  • This sauce can be served immediately but tastes even better the longer it is allowed to sit and marry. Bloom Sauce can be refrigerated for up to one week.
