Steps:
- Set your oven at 400 degrees
- Whisk all dry ingrediants together (flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt)
- In another bowl mix wet ingrediants (egg, sour cream, buttermilk and oil)
- Add wet to dry, mixing just until blended
- Pour into greased loaf pan
- Bake for 22-25 minutes

PAULA DEEN'S CORNBREAD
Alright... I found it. This is *the* cornbread recipe that I'm using from now on. It's incredibly moist, and to quote Paula "so good!" If you don't have self-rising cornmeal, you can use 3/4 cup+3Tbsp cornmeal, and 1 Tbsp baking powder, and 1/2 tsp salt. If you don't have self-rising flour, use 1/2 cup flour, 3/4 tsp baking powder and 1/4 tsp salt.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine all ingredients and mix well.
- Pour batter into a greased shallow baking dish.
- Bake for approximately 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.

We had a chili get-together and my friend Pamela brought cornbread. It was the best I have ever eaten, so I asked her for the recipe. It was so moist, and not overly sweet. It was perfect!

- Mix dry ingredients together. Mix eggs, milk and oil in another bowl. Make well in center of dry ingredients and add wet ingredients. Stir just to combine. Pour into greased 9X9 pan and bake at 425 for 25-30 minutes.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- Combine corn muffin mix, corn, butter, sugar, water, and salt in a bowl. Pour into the greased loaf pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven until all the liquid is absorbed, 45 to 50 minutes. Scoop onto serving dishes with an ice cream scoop.

PERFECT CORNBREAD... EVERY TIME!
Promise me you will try this one!!! I guarantee a moist, slightly sweet, NOT crumbly corn bread, with NO bitter after taste. I have tried so many corn bread recipes my family is sick of trying them. I have created this recipe from my trials. I like my corn bread to have a nice corn flavor, to be moist and not crumble, and I like it a little sweet. I also DON'T like the bitter after taste so many corn breads have. Give it a shot, you won't regret it!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Add wet ingredients and mix well.
- Pour into a greased 9-10 inch dish about 2 inches deep, I use a 10 inch cast iron skillet.
- Bake for 18-23 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
- DO NOT OVER BAKE! This causes it to crumble. I bake mine just until it starts to crack, 20 minutes.
- ENJOY!
- You can also make these in corn stick pans, bake for 12 to 18 minutes.

- Combine dry ingredients in bowl and mix well.
- Beat egg and milk together; add corn.
- Mix well.
- Saute onion, chiles and pimiento in butter inskillet until onion is tender.
- Add milk mixture, onion mixture and cheese to dry ingredients.
- Stir until just mixed.
- Pour into well buttered 8-inch square pan.
- Bake in hot oven at 400 degrees 35-40 minutes (adjust time and temp for altitude, if necessary), or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
HIGH-ALTITUDE CORNBREAD
I don't know if cornbread was ever designed to be baked above sea level, but this recipe creates lighter but sturdy cornbread. This is not a light-as-air muffin, but dang is it good!
