Parmesan chex mix is a yummy and easy twist on the classic chex party mix recipe. Perfect for the holidays or your next get together!

Number Of Ingredients 10

Ingredients

9 cups Chex cereal (corn)
2 cups Goldfish crackers (cheese flavor or original flavor)
2 cups mini pretzel twists
2 cups Cheez-its crackers (original flavor)
8 tablespoons butter (melted)
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons seasoned salt (we prefer Lawry's)
¾ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (the kind found in the green plastic canister, usually near the spaghetti sauce)

Steps:

In a large bowl combine the cereal, goldfish, pretzels and cheese crackers. In a small bowl whisk together mix melted butter, worcestershire sauce, seasoning salt, garlic powder and onion powder together.
Pour the butter seasoning mix over the cereal mixture and stir gently until evenly coated. Sprinkle with the parmesan cheese and stir to coat again.
Spread out the chex mix on your largest baking sheet or 2 smaller baking sheets. You want the cereal in as even a layer as you can but since we will be stirring frequently it will cook evenly.
Bake in a 250° F oven for 45-50 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes until toasted and golden.
Allow the snack mix to cool on the baking sheet, then serve or store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

7 cups Rice Chex
2 cups miniature pretzels
2 cups Parmesan and garlic-flavored snack crackers
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoons seasoned salt
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon fennel seed, crushed
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

In a 3-qt. microwave-safe bowl, combine the cereal, pretzels and crackers. In a small bowl, combine the oil, vinegar, seasoned salt, Italian seasoning and fennel. Pour over cereal mixture and toss to coat. Stir in cheese., Microwave, uncovered, on high for 3 minutes, stirring after each minute. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in an airtight container.

Steps:

In a large bowl, combine cereal, pretzels and crackers. Drizzle with butter. Sprinkle with cheese and salad dressing mix; toss to coat., Microwave in batches on high 3 minutes, stirring every minute. Spread onto a baking sheet to cool. Store in an airtight container.

2 cups oyster crackers
2 cups pretzel twists
1 cup pistachio nut
4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup melted butter
1 (1 ounce) package dry ranch dressing mix
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

Preheat oven to 250°F.
In a large bowl combine the cereal, oyster crackers, pretzels, pistachios and cheese.
In a small bowl combine the butter, salad dressing mix, and garlic powder.
Drizzle over the cereal mix, tossing to lightly coat mixture.
Place on a cookie or baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove and let cool completely before packing in jars.
