the garlic and lemon juice amount may be adjusted to taste, if you like some heat add in crushed red chili flakes and saute with the garlic :)

Steps:
- In a saucepan bring the water with bouillon powder to a boil; add in orzo and cook uncovered until tender stirring a couple times to prevent sticking; drain and place into a bowl.
- In another saucepan melt butter over medium heat; add in garlic and cook stirring for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat, add in the cooked pasta, lemon rind and lemon juice; stir until combined.
- Mix in Parmesan cheese, then season with black pepper and salt if desired.
PARMESAN HERBED ORZO
Steps:
- Cook orzo as directed on package.
- In a large bowl, toss together orzo with remaining ingredients. Can be served warm or chilled.

- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook orzo in the boiling water, stirring occasionally until cooked through but firm to the bite, about 11 minutes. Drain.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat; cook and stir garlic in melted butter until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Stir orzo into garlic mixture and mix in Parmesan cheese, milk, parsley, salt, and black pepper.

- Cook orzo according to package directions; drain. Transfer to a small bowl; drizzle with oil. Stir in remaining ingredients.

LEMON ORZO
Steps:
- In a large saucepan, bring 2 quarts of water to a boil. Add 2 teaspoons salt and the orzo. Return the water to a boil and simmer uncovered for 9 to 11 minutes, until the orzo is al dente. Drain.
- Transfer the orzo to a bowl and stir in the lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, dill, 2 teaspoons salt, and 1 teaspoon pepper. Fold in the feta and serve hot.

- For a version that is not quite so rich, you may omit the Parmesan cheese.
- In a large saucepan, bring 1 quart of water to a boil.
- Add the salt and orzo and cook until the orzo is tender and has absorbed almost all of the cooking liquid, 8 to 9 minutes.
- Stir in the butter, Parmesan cheese, lemon zest and juice and parsley.
- Serve immediately.

Cook uncovered for 9-11 minutes, stirring often to prevent sticking, until the orzo is tender, and broth has been absorbed. *While the orzo cooks, prep remaining ingredients.
- When orzo is finished, the broth should be fully absorbed, and orzo will be tender. Quickly add melted butter, lemon zest and juice, grated Parmesan cheese, and black pepper while pasta is hot. Stir to combine, until cheese has melted.
- Transfer orzo to a serving bowl. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese. If desired, garnish with a few lemon peel strips and fresh parsley (optional). Serve hot, and enjoy!
