Pineapple Almond Bread gift in a jar and bake in the same jar image

A delish bread that you give and bake in the same pint wide mouth jar

1/2 cup(s) flour
1/3 cup(s) dry dunkin hines pineapple supreme cake mix
3 tablespoon(s) sliced almonds
1 tablespoon(s) sugar
1/2 teaspoon(s) each: baking soda and baking powder
1 - snack size (4 oz) pineapple tidbits
USE ONLY WIDE MOUTH JARS (PINT)

Steps:

  • Mix all but the pineapple together and place in baggy. Put into the jar. add the snack size pineapple in the package. Close lid and decorate and attach a tag
  • Pineapple Almond Bread (you bake in the jar) Remove contents of the jar. drain pineapple reserving the juice. add 1 egg 1 tablespoon oil and the pineapple. add 1 tablespoon reserved juice. Spray the inside of the jar with cooking spray. place batter in jar and place jar in a smakk baking dish to stableize. do not put lid on jar. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes or until done. Remove from oven and cool 10 minutes. Run knife around jar to loosen and slide the bread out. slice and serve.

3/4 cup quick oats
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Layer the ingredients in the order given into a wide mouth 1-quart canning jar. Pack each layer into place before adding the next ingredient.
  • Attach a gift tag with the following mixing and baking instructions:.
  • Peach Crumb Cake:.
  • 1 Jar Peach Crumb Cake Mix.
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine.
  • 1 (29 oz.) can peach pie filling.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Empty contents of jar into a mixing bowl, stirring to combine. Melt butter and stir into dry ingredients to form a crumbly mixture. Press half of the crumbs into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan and top with peach pie filling. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over filling. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
