PEANUT BUTTER PIE (PRESIDENTS PIE)
I believe that this was named "president's Pie" in honour of Jimmy Carter - at least that is the story that I was told growing up. Enjoy!

Steps:
- 1. beat cream cheese, peanut butter, confectioners sugar and milk together till creamy.
- 2. Fold in cool whip.
- 3. Fill graham cracker crust with cream cheese mixture and freeze until firm. Slice and serve.

Steps:
- Mix the cream cheese, confectioners' sugar and peanut butter together until smooth. Fold in 1/2 of the whipped topping. Spoon the mixture into the graham cracker crust.
- Place the remaining whipped topping over the top of the peanut butter mixture and garnish with the peanut butter cups. Chill for at least 2 hours or overnight before serving.

- Combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar and melted butter until well blended. Press the mixture into the sides and bottom of a nine-inch deep dish pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Cool completely.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar in a mixing bowl. Add the peanut butter and vanilla and mix well. Beat in the melted butter gradually.
- In a separate bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold the cream into the peanut butter mixture using a spatula. Do not over beat. Pour into the prepared, cool crust and refrigerate for several hours until set.
