½ cup Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
½ cup all-purpose flour
1 egg
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
½ cup pizza sauce, divided
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
4 slices pepperoni, or to taste - divided

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper in a shallow bowl; place flour into a second bowl. Whisk egg and lemon juice together in a third bowl.
  • Dip each chicken breast in egg mixture and dredge in flour; dip again in egg mixture and dredge chicken in crumb mixture until coated. Place coated chicken breasts into a baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until chicken is heated through and crumbs are golden, about 20 minutes.
  • Spoon 2 tablespoons pizza sauce onto each chicken breast, sprinkle each with half the mozzarella cheese, and top each with half the pepperoni slices.
  • Bake until chicken is no longer pink inside and the juices run clear, about 10 more minutes. An instant-read meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of a breast should read at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).

1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 jar Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce
8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
15 slices pepperoni
¼ cup pepperoncinis
¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese, for garnish
garlic bread, for serving

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Add the chicken to an ungreased 9 x 11-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper over the chicken. Pour the Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce over the chicken and stir until the chicken is completely coated. Top with the mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and pepperoncinis.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove the chicken bake from the oven and turn the broiler on high.
  • Place the chicken bake under the broiler and broil for about 3 minutes, or until the cheese is browned (watch closely as it can burn quickly). Remove the chicken bake from the oven and let cool for about 10 minutes.
  • Garnish the pizza chicken with shredded Parmesan cheese. Serve with garlic bread.

6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup Italian dressing
1¼ cup marinara sauce ((divided))
1½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
16 turkey pepperonis ( optional topping)
1 green bell pepper ((diced) - optional topping)
1 (2.25 ounce) can sliced olives ((drained) - optional topping)

Steps:

  • Place chicken breasts in a resealable gallon-sized bag and pour the Italian dressing on top. Seal the bag, removing as much of the air as possible. (If desired, place bag in a bread loaf pan to ensure chicken is fully submerged in marinade.)
  • Place pan in fridge and marinate for at least 1 hour (or up to 12 hours).
  • When finished marinating, spray a 9 x 13 inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Spread 1/2 cup of marinara sauce in the bottom of the pan.
  • Remove chicken from marinade (discard marinade) and place in pan.
  • Top chicken with remaining marinara sauce and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • Remove chicken from oven and top with cheese and toppings of choice.
  • Place chicken back in oven and bake for about 10-15 more minutes or until chicken is no longer pink on the inside and the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.

1/2 teaspoon onion salt
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2-1 teaspoon oregano
4 ounces mushrooms
8 ounces low-fat pizza sauce
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped (optional)
1/4 cup green olives, chopped (optional)
4 ounces mozzarella cheese, to taste (or more)

Steps:

  • Place whole chicken breasts into a casserole dish. Sprinkle on the onion salt and the oregano. Add onions, mushrooms, green pepper, olives.
  • Pour Pizza sauce over chicken and veggies.
  • Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes, remove from oven and top with cheese. Bake another 5 to 10 minutes or till the cheese is bubbly.

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup sliced mushroom
1 (26 ounce) jar herb flavored spaghetti sauce
1 teaspoon pizza seasoning
3 (3/4 lb) boneless skinless chicken breast halves, quartered
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Spray 2 quart round casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • cook pasta according to package directions and place in prepared dish.
  • Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  • Add mushrooms and cook and stir for 2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in spaghetti sauce and pizza seasonng.
  • Pour HALF of spaghetti sauce mixture into casserole and stir until pasta is well coated.
  • Arrange chicken on top of pasta and pour remaining sauce mixture evenly over chicken.
  • Bake, uncovered, for 50 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in center.
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese.
  • Cover and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
