Potatorutabagapotato Chip Cheese Bake Recipes

POTATO,RUTABAGA,POTATO CHIP,& CHEESE BAKE.

Steps:

• wash and peel potatoes.
• Then dice, and set in cold water.
• wash peel and chop rutabaga. Set in water with potatoes.
• Melt butter. Chop onions. Crush potato chips. Spray cooking dish with oil. Pre-heat oven to 350F.
• In a large mixing bowl, add drained potatoes, drained rutabaga, chopped onion, pepper and melted butter. MIX well.
• Put all in baking dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 crushed potato chips. Put in oven, uncovered and bake for about 40-45 minutes, at 350 F. Until potatoes are soft, and the baking dish has golden edges around the inside of baking dish.
• Sprinkle cheese and the other 1/2 of potato chips over the top. Return to oven till the cheese melts. Sprinkle with paprika. Serve and enjoy.

RUTABAGA-POTATO CASSEROLE

Steps:

• In a large saucepan, combine rutabagas, potatoes and water.
• Bring to a boil; cook over low heat 25 minutes or until tender.
• Drain, reserving liquid.
• Mash rutabagas and potatoes until smooth.
• Butter a shallow, 2-quart casserole dish; set aside.
• Preheat oven to 300°F.
• In large bowl, beat potato mixture on high speed, adding 1/2 cup of cooking liquid.
• Beat in flour, bread crumbs, cream, syrup, 1/4 cup melted butter, eggs, salt, allspice, nutmeg, ginger and white pepper.
• Beat until light and fluffy.
• Spoon into prepared casserole dish.
• Use a spoon to smooth top.
• Drizzle with 3 tablespoons melted butter.
• Bake, uncovered, 1 1/2 - 2 hours or until lightly browned.
