I got this off the side of a Pillsbury cake mix box several years ago. I have made this several times and everyone loves it. Have given the recipe to lots of people. Very easy to make. I do not frost it because it is very moist. Have also used this as the cake for strawberry shortcake. Made a Pineapple upside down cake using this. I just put the pineapple, brown sugar and butter in bottom of a flat cake pan and poured the cake mix over it and then baked.

1 box(es) 3.4 oz vanilla instant pudding mix
1 cup(s) water
1/2 cup(s) butter or margarine
4 large eggs

Steps:

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Generously grease and flour 12-cup Bundt pan or 10-inch tube pan. In large bowl, combine cake ingredients at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes at high speed. Pour batter into greased and floured pan. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 30 minutes; invert onto serving plate. Cool completely.
Frost if desired. Heat frosting in small saucepan until melted. Spoon glaze over cake, allowing some to run down sides. 16 servings
HIGH ALTITUDE - Above 3500 feet add 1/3 cup flour to dry cake mix and increase water to 1 1/4 cup. Bake as directed.

This is a moist and delicious cake. So easy to make. Just open a packet of strawberry pudding mix and dice up some strawberries.

1 (15.25 ounce) package French vanilla cake mix (such as Duncan Hines®)
1 (3 ounce) package instant strawberry pudding mix
1 cup water
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
¼ cup canola oil
1 ¼ cups diced fresh strawberries
1 ½ cups powdered sugar
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened
½ teaspoon strawberry extract, or to taste
3 tablespoons milk, or as needed

Steps:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a fluted tube pan (such as Bundt®).
Stir cake mix and pudding mix together in a large bowl to remove any large lumps. Stir in water, eggs, and oil, then stir in strawberries. Pour into the prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean, 40 to 45 minutes. Cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes. Run a table knife around the edges to loosen. Invert carefully onto a serving plate or cooling rack. Let cool, about 30 minutes.
Combine powdered sugar, butter, and strawberry extract for icing in a bowl. Mix in just enough milk to make a spreadable paste.
Pour icing over the cooled cake.

1 (18 1/4 ounce) box chocolate cake mix, Pillsbury brand recommended
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 1/4 cups water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
4 large eggs
1/2 cup chocolate frosting, the pre-made Pillsbury brand is recommended

Steps:

HEAT oven to 350°F
Generously spray a 12-cup fluted tube pan pan or 10-inch tube pan with flour no-stick cooking spray.
Combine cake ingredients in large bowl at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes at high speed. Pour batter into prepared pan.
BAKE 45 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 30 minutes; invert onto serving plate. Cool completely.
HEAT frosting in small saucepan just until melted. Spoon glaze over cake, allowing some to run down sides.
