1 cup milk
1 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup sugar
4 egg yolks
1 cup KRAFT Classic Ranch Dressing
1/4 cup grated carrots
1/4 cup grated red peppers

Steps:

Cook milk, cream and sugar in saucepan on medium heat 5 to 7 min. or until sugar is dissolved, stirring frequently. Remove from heat.
Whisk egg yolks in medium bowl until blended. Gradually whisk in 1/3 of the milk mixture until well blended. Add to remaining milk mixture in saucepan; cook 5 to 7 min. or until slightly thickened. (Mixture should be thick enough to evenly coat back of spoon.) Pour milk mixture through fine-mesh strainer into medium bowl. Stir in dressing.
Refrigerate 2 hours or until chilled.
Pour milk mixture into container of ice cream freezer; churn according to manufacturer's directions.
Serve topped with vegetables.

Most sprinkles ice creams just add colored sprinkles to a plain, unflavored sweet cream base. That's pretty boring. This recipe uses candy-colored, delightfully artificially flavored cereal (Fruity Pebbles, specifically, but Trix and Froot Loops would work well) to make something that's far more fun and deserving of the sprinkles that go into it.

2 2/3 cups heavy cream
1 1/3 cup whole milk
2 cups fruit-flavored cereal (recommended: Fruity Pebbles; see head note)
6 egg yolks
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup colored sprinkles

Steps:

Quickly pour dairy into saucepan with egg yolks and sugar, whisking rapidly to completely combine. Place pot over medium-low heat and cook, whisking frequently, until a custard forms on a spoon and a finger swiped across the back leaves a clean line, or until custard temperature reaches 170°F. Stir in salt to taste.
Strain custard through a fine mesh strainer and either chill in ice bath or in refrigerator until it is very cold, about 40°F. Churn in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions, adding in sprinkles during last minute of churn, then transfer to an airtight container and chill in freezer for at least 4 hours.

Steps:

Stir together sour cream, mayonnaise, parsley, chives, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl until combined well. Chill dip, covered, until slightly thickened, at least 1 hour (for flavors to develop).

2 ½ cups small pretzels
2 ½ cups cheese-flavored crackers
2 cups oyster crackers
½ cup peanuts
⅔ cup vegetable oil
1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C).
Combine cereal, pretzels, cheese-flavored crackers, oyster crackers, and peanuts in a large bowl.
Whisk vegetable oil, ranch dressing mix, and garlic powder together in a small bowl. Pour over cereal mixture and stir until coated. Arrange on a large baking sheet.

1 pt vanilla ice cream
6 chocolate cookies
1 cup rainbow sprinkles

Steps:

Using a serrated knife, cut the pint of ice cream crosswise into 3 equal discs.
Lay out 3 chocolate cookies and place a pint slice on top of each. Place another chocolate cookie on top of each sandwich. Remove the ice cream packaging.
Freeze for 30 minutes.
Pour the sprinkles into a shallow dish.
Remove the ice cream sandwiches from the freezer and roll the sides in the sprinkles, completely covering the ice cream.
Freeze for 30 minutes more before serving.
