- Dissolve cinnamon candies in water in a saucepan over medium heat. Mix in gelatin and allow to dissolve; remove from heat and stir applesauce into mixture. Pour into a serving dish and refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.

- In a large bowl, dissolve candies in water. Stir in gelatin until dissolved. Fold in applesauce. Pour into twelve greased 1/3-cup individual molds, a 4-cup heart-shaped mold or a 1-qt. bowl. Refrigerate overnight or until set.

- In a small bowl, dissolve gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. In another bowl, dissolve red-hots in remaining water; stir into gelatin. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate until slightly thickened, about 1 hour. , Fold in the apples, celery and walnuts. Pour into a 4-cup mold coated with cooking spray. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.

This is especially nice to serve guests on Holidays. Good with pork,ham or poultry... and looks so pretty. I have made this many times, and always get compliments. A friends recipe from 50's or 60's.

- Combine boiling water with cinnamon candies in a saucepan, stir over low heat to dissolve candies. remove from heat stir in gelatin. Blend in applesauce. Pour half of mixture into a 2 quart mold or an 8 inch square pan. Chill until firm. Blend softened cream cheese with mayonnaise, add chopped nuts, and or chopped celery. Spread cream cheese mixture over chilled mixture. Pour remaining gelatin mixture over cream cheese mixture. Chill all several hours till firm.
