3 cups Sacramento tomato juice
2 (8-ounce) bottles clam juice, such Bumble Bee
1/2 teaspoon grated lime zest
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (3 to 4 limes)
2 teaspoons wasabi powder
2 teaspoons Tabasco Chipotle Pepper Sauce (see Cook's Note)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup good vodka, such as Grey Goose
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons Old Bay Seasoning
1 lime wedge, plus 6 lime slices, for garnish
18 large pimento-stuffed olives, such as Sable and Rosenfeld
6 cooked and peeled jumbo shrimp, with tails on

Steps:

  • In a large pitcher, stir together the tomato juice, clam juice, and lime zest. In a small glass measuring cup, whisk together the lime juice and wasabi powder and add to the pitcher. Stir in the Tabasco, Worcestershire, vodka, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
  • Spread the Old Bay Seasoning on a small plate. Moisten the rims of six highball glasses by running a lime wedge around the edge of each glass and dip the rims in the Old Bay Seasoning. Set aside to dry.
  • Fill the glasses half full with ice and pour in the Bloody Mary mixture. For each drink, add 2 or 3 olives threaded on a 6-inch skewer, then place one shrimp and one slice of lime on the rim of each glass. Serve cold.

½ lime, juiced
1 stalk celery
4 dashes pepper sauce (such as Frank's Red Hot®)
2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
4 (1.5 fluid ounce) jiggers vodka, or to taste
½ cup crushed ice
salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 cup ice cubes
4 marinated cocktail onions
½ carrot
2 short stalks of celery with leaves
2 stuffed green olives
½ lime, cut into wedges
2 thin strips of green bell pepper
2 small sprigs of mint

Steps:

  • In a blender, combine the vegetable juice, lime juice, 1 celery stalk, hot pepper sauce, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, vodka, and crushed ice. Season with salt and pepper. Cover, and blend until smooth.n
  • Use two large frozen beer mugs, highball or pint glasses. Place one cocktail onion at the bottom of each glass. Put 1/2 cup of ice cubes into each glass. Use a vegetable peeler to pull a few strips off of the carrot for each glass. Put in a slice of green pepper. Divide the blended mixture evenly between the two glasses.n
  • On cocktail toothpicks, place a green olive, a cocktail onion, and a lime wedge. Attach each one to a celery stalk so that when inserted, this garnish is on the top of the drink. Sprinkle on a few more carrot strips, and garnish each drink with a sprig of mint.n

1/2 - 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
1 - 2 cup vodka

Steps:

  • Put all ingredients except vodka in pitcher; mix well. Fill 12-ounce glasses with ice. Add 1-2 ounces vodka to each glass. Add tomato mixture. Garnish with celery sticks, cucumber sticks or slices, and lime.
