I love this homemade sangria that my Grandfather taught me to make when I was young wife. He told me he had learn to make when he was working down in Mexico in his younger days. It is easy but it does takes time to cure between steps. We have had mango sangria, peach-mango sangria, or pear-pineapple sangria. You can garnish with blueberries, mint leaves, or fresh peach slices if you would like.

4 large fresh peaches - peeled, pitted, and sliced
1 cup hot water
½ cup light brown sugar
1 pinch ground cinnamon
2 ½ cups dry white wine
½ cup triple sec liqueur
1 (750 milliliter) bottle sparkling white wine, chilled

Steps:

  • Blend peaches, hot water, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a blender or food processor until smooth. Transfer to a pitcher; stir in dry white wine and triple sec. Cover and chill in refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  • Strain peach mixture through a large cheesecloth-lined sieve; squeeze cloth to remove all the juices. Pour juice into a large pitcher; stir in sparkling white wine.

3/4 cup peach vodka
1/4 cup sugar
1 pound white peaches (sliced)
1 cup green grapes (halved)
2 cups lemon-lime soda

Steps:

  • In a large pitcher, combine white wine, peach vodka, and sugar; stir well to dissolve sugar.
  • Add white peaches and grapes to the pitcher and then set in fridge to chill.
  • Add lemon-lime soda when you are ready to serve to help maintain the bubbles.

3 fluid ounces lemon-lime flavored soda
1 fluid ounce peach schnapps
1 fluid ounce pineapple juice
1 cup ice cubes, or as needed
1 slice frozen peach
3 red seedless grapes, frozen
3 seedless green grapes, frozen

Steps:

  • Mix wine, lemon-lime soda, peach schnapps, and pineapple juice in a cocktail shaker; add ice. Stir until wine mixture is chilled.
  • Place frozen peach, red grapes, and green grapes in a martini glass; strain wine mixture into martini glass.

Learn to make white sangria with peaches, the perfect cold refreshing party drink for summer.

1 lb fresh yellow peaches, sliced
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup peach liqueur or peach schnapps
750 mL white wine ((1 bottle))
1 liter ginger ale, chilled

Steps:

  • Place the sliced peaches into the bottom of the sangria pitcher.
  • In a small saucepan, bring 1/4 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water to a boil. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let it cool. This is your simple syrup.
  • Pour the simple syrup, peach liqueur and white wine over the peaches. Stir.Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and let it sit for at least 2 hours, up to overnight.
  • When ready to serve, top the pitcher off with chilled ginger ale and stir gently. Serve in wine glasses, allowing a piece of fruit or two into each glass.
  • The ginger ale will lose its carbonation quickly in the pitcher, but will still add a great flavor. If you'd like a more sparkling sangria, top the glasses off, rather than the pitcher. Fill each glass half full with sangria and top off with ginger ale. This will make the final beverage more carbonated and sparkling.
