THIN MINT COOKIES

Steps:

• In a large bowl, beat 1/2 cup butter or margarine until creamy. Add the sugar, and beat until mixed well. Beat in egg and mint extract.
• Sift flour, cocoa, and salt together into a small bowl. Add flour mixture by halves into creamed mixture, beating well after each addition.
• Divide dough in half. On lightly floured surface roll dough into two 1 1/2 inch diameter cylinders. Wrap each cylinder in waxed paper, and refrigerate 5 hours.
• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Thirty minutes prior to baking, place both cylinders in freezer.
• Remove one cylinder at a time, and slice 1/4 inch thick pieces with very sharp knife. Place on cookie sheets about 1 1/2 inches apart. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
• Melt 1/4 cup butter or margarine and the semisweet chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave. Drizzle over warm cookies. Place on wire racks, and let cool and harden completely.

GIRL SCOUT COOKIES

Steps:

• In a bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in milk and vanilla. Whisk together flour and baking powder; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Chill at least 2 hours or overnight. , Preheat oven to 350°. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough to 1/4-in. thickness. Cut with trefoil cookie cutter or cutter of your choice. Place cookies on ungreased baking sheets. Sprinkle with decorator's sugar if desired. , Bake until lightly browned, 8-10 minutes. Cool on wire racks.

THE ORIGINAL HOME-BAKED GIRL SCOUT COOKIE

Steps:

• Combine the cream, butter, and sugar. Next, add well-beaten eggs, then milk, vanilla flavoring, flour and baking powder.
• Roll thin, make trefoil cutouts, sprinkle sugar crystals on top, and bake at 350 degrees F for about 8 minutes, or until just golden brown.

Steps:

• Select your favorite recipe.
• Organize all the required ingredients.
• Prep a Girl Scout cookie recipe in 30 minutes or less!

GIRL SCOUT MINT COOKIES (COPYCAT)

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
• Combine cake mix, eggs, water, cooking oil,and cocoa. You will need to blend this together well, this will be a very sticky mess.
• Let stand for 20 minutes, and then shape into very small 1/2 inch balls. Place these balls on a cookie sheet 2 inches a part, and smash down flat. You will need to spray a large spoon with Pam to make them flat.
• Bake for about 8 minutes. Let cool until they reach room temperature.
• Heat chocolate chips in either the microwave, or in a double boiler. When completely melted add a couple drops of the mint flavoring. Be carefull not to add too much, it is a powerfull flavoring.
• You can either spread the melted chocolate on the cookies, or you can dip the cookies into the chocolate.

ORIGINAL GIRL SCOUT COOKIES

Steps:

• Cream butter and sugar together, add well beaten eggs, then milk, flavoring, flour and baking powder. Roll thin and bake in quick oven. Sprinkle sugar on top.
