Anyone with a sweet tooth will appreciate this yummy fudge and how easy it is to make. Itâs a breeze to make on your own and itâs also a great activity if youâve got little hands helping you! We decided to add a little more vanilla for some extra kick and some sea salt to cut the sweetness, but itâs your fudge, your rulesÃ³anything goes with this one!
Rich and Decadent Dessert: Sea Salt Chocolate Fudge
Sea Salt Chocolate Fudge
Yields 48 pieces
Ingredients
2 cups (12 oz bag) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Steps:

Directions Line a 9-inch square baking dish with aluminum foil. In a medium saucepan, combine chocolate chips and condensed milk over low heat. Stir until chocolate is melted and smooth. Once smooth, take off heat and stir in vanilla and salt. Pour into baking dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. (Optional: sprinkle sea salt over the top.) Pull foil out, cut fudge into pieces and enjoy!

2 ¼ cups white sugar
¾ cup butter
1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk
1 (11 ounce) package individually wrapped caramels, unwrapped
1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons kosher salt

Steps:

Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
Combine sugar, butter, and evaporated milk in a 2-quart saucepan; cook, stirring constantly, until a candy thermometer reads 245 degrees F (118 degrees C), about 10 minutes. Add caramel to milk mixture; cook until temperature returns to 245 degrees F (118 degrees C), about 10 minutes.
Remove saucepan from heat and stir marshmallow creme and vanilla extract into caramel mixture. Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish, evenly spreading into the dish. Sprinkle salt over the fudge. Lightly swirl fudge using a butter knife to slightly submerge the salt into the fudge. Cool fudge completely before cutting into squares.
