SESAME BEEF BITES
A really quick-yet-elegant finger food perfect for holiday parties!

Steps:
- Whisk together the sesame oil, vinegar, green onion, garlic, hoisin sauce, and chile garlic sauce in a large glass or ceramic bowl. Add the beef tenderloin cubes and toss to evenly coat. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate at room temperature for 10 minutes, or in the refrigerator up to 8 hours.
- Preheat the oven's broiler and set the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Spread the beef cubes onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven until cooked to your desired degree of doneness, about 8 minutes for medium-well. Transfer to a bowl and toss with teriyaki sauce. Skewer each piece of beef with a toothpick and place onto a serving platter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds to serve.

- In a large shallow dish, mix the first 8 ingredients. Add beef; turn to coat. Refrigerate, covered, 8 hours or overnight., Pour beef and marinade into a 3-qt. slow cooker. Cook, covered, on low 5-7 hours or until meat is tender., Using a slotted spoon, remove beef to a serving platter; sprinkle with additional green onions and sesame seeds. Serve with rice.

- In a shallow dish, combine the first 5 ingredients. Add tenderloin and turn to coat. Cover; refrigerate for 2 hours, turning several times. , Drain and discard marinade. Brush the beef with honey; sprinkle with sesame seeds. Place in a shallow roasting pan. Bake at 400° for 25 minutes. Cover with foil. Bake 30-35 minutes longer or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°). Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.

This dish needs to be marinated overnight to really appreciate the flavour of the spices. It is a very flavourful, easy to prepare dish, perfect for entertaining, best when served medium rare, at room temperature.

Steps:
- Using a sharp knife, cut into the tenderloin fillet 2/3 of the way thru, make five cuts for 5 equal serving portions.
- Put meat into a shallow glass dish.
- Next combine, soya sauce, garlic, curry paste, pepper, honey, oil and salt.
- Coat the meat with marinating sauce and cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnite.
- Reserve marinade for basting.
- Bring meat to room temperature for at least 1 hour before cooking.
- Using a shallow pan bake tenderloin fillet at 500 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes, remember to baste every 5 minutes.
- If the sauce is drying up too quickly add small amounts of water to pan to obtain your desired consistency.
- Drizzle the sauce over the tenderloins and enjoy.
- We love this beef dish served with roasted mini potatoes, pan fried whole small cremi mushrooms and steamed asparagus with lemon.

HONEY SESAME PORK TENDERLOIN
Here is a different and very tasty way to make tenderloin...I make this often at our house, this is one of my husband's favorite pork dishes. Note: the longer the pork marinates, the better it will be.....prep time includes marinade time.

- Combine soy sauce, garlic, ginger and sesame oil.
- Place the pork tenderloin in a heavy plastic bag.
- Pour the soy mixture over the pork to coat well.
- Cover and marinate 6-24 hours in the refrigerator.
- Remove the pork from the marinade; pat dry.
- Let sit out at room temperature for 1 hour before coating and cooking.
- Mix together the honey and brown sugar in a shallow plate.
- Rub the tenderloin in oil all over.
- Place sesame seeds on a separate shallow plate.
- Roll pork in the honey mixture, coating well.
- Then roll in sesame seeds.
- Roast in a shallow pan at 375 degrees for 20-30 mins or until the pork is cooked.
- Remove to a platter, slice thinly to serve.
