SHAKESPEARE'S TEA
This really is Shakespeare's Tea! The combination of lavender, mint, savory and marjoram as a tea appeared in Act 4 of the Bard's "The Winter's Tale". I can't wait to give this a try. I found it online. I have no clue how many servings this makes.

Steps:
- Here is a dried tea blend to keep you young and warm-blooded all winter!
- Collect your herbs mid-summer and rub off the stems when dried.
- Crumble the Peppermint leaves to match the size of the other greens.
- If your Calendulas are huge, break in half when dry.
- Use 1 tsp per cup.
- In a pot add 1 tsp per person and 1 for the pot!
- Steep 3 minutes.

SASSAFRAS TEA
A good ol timey, fine-tasting tea. A very unique blend of flavors. I've been making sassafras tea since I was little. Easy to make and worth the effort. A great country drink. Don't drink too often though as too much sassafras tea can be harmful. Prep time depends on how long it takes you to find 4 4' tall saplings :)

Steps:
- Gather or buy the sassafrass root. Wash roots and cut saplings off where they're green and where the root ends.
- Bring water to a boil and add roots.
- Simmer until the water is a deep brownish red (the darker the stronger -- I like mine strong).
- Strain into a pitcher through wire and a coffee filter if you don't want any sediment.
- Add honey or sugar to taste.
- Serve hot or cold (I like mine ice cold) with lemon and a sprig of mint.
