Steps:
- Place a rack on the top of the oven and preheat to 450 degrees F. Press the dough into a pie plate, prick the bottom of the crust with a fork and flute the edges. Bake the crust until golden, about 10 minutes.
- Heat the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Cook the onions, stirring occasionally until they are softened, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic, 1/4 teaspoon of the salt and 1/8 teaspoon of the pepper, and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in 1 cup of the gravy and the milk, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes. Stir in the turkey, carrots, corn, peas, parsley, thyme, oregano, and the remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper, making sure all of the ingredients are evenly coated with the gravy. Simmer until the mixture is warmed through, about 5 minutes. Pour the mixture into the pie shell. Use a spatula or wooden spoon to spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the mixture, making sure the potato layer meets the edges of the crust. Cover the potatoes with the cheese. Bake the pie until the top is golden, 25 to 30 minutes.
- To serve, cut into slices and drizzle with gravy.

Steps:
- In a large saute pan on medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter and saute 1/2 of chopped onion, carrots and celery until softened. Add the meat and salt and cook on high, stirring occasionally until the moisture is evaporated and the meat is browning in fat, about 15 minutes.
- When meat is browned, stir in Worcestershire and cook 1 minute. Stir in chicken stock and cornstarch-water mixture and simmer for additional minute to thicken.
- Peel and halve potatoes. Place in pot and cover with cold water to 2 inches above potatoes. Add generous amount of salt. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain potatoes and return to pot (or transfer to bowl). Mash the potatoes with 4 tablespoons butter, white pepper and a few tablespoons of milk until smooth. Add more milk if needed to make potatoes creamy.
- In a 2-quart casserole dish, evenly distribute the cooked meat, top with peas and remaining chopped onion and dollop mashed potatoes on top. Dot top of potatoes with remaining 2 tablespoons butter.
- Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes, until warmed through and potatoes are golden on top, and pie is bubbling.

Steps:
- Place chopped potatoes in a large saucepan, cover with cold water and bring to boil. Cook until potatoes are tender (12-15 minutes), don't overcook potatoes. Drain and mash potatoes in the same pot.
- Add warm cream and 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste) then mash until smooth. Lastly, mash in the parmesan cheese and beaten egg.
- Preheat oven to 400˚F with a rack in the center. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 Tbsp olive oil and ground beef. Breaking up the beef with a spatula then season with 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper and cook until meat is just cooked through and no longer pink (5 minutes).
- Add onions and sauté for 3 minutes to soften then add minced garlic and stir another minute.
- Sprinkle with 2 Tbsp flour and stir for 1 minute. You'll see a film form on the bottom of your pan.
- Stir in red wine, scraping the bottom to deglaze the pan for a minute. Add beef broth, 1 Tbsp tomato paste, and 1 Tbsp Worcestershire.
- Add 1 1/2 cups of frozen veggies and bring to a light boil. Season with another 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper or add to taste. Reduce heat to a simmer, cover and cook 10 minutes until sauce is slightly thickened.
- Transfer meat and veggie mixture to a deep pie dish, or 11x7 or 9x9 casserole dish.
- Scoop mashed potatoes over the top then spread evenly, making sure to seal the potatoes to the edge of the dish so the filling doesn't bubble up.
- Drizzle 2 Tbsp melted butter over the top. Place a sheet of foil under the casserole to catch any drips and bake at 400˚F on the center rack for 25-30 minutes or until potatoes start to turn golden. Cool 15 minutes before serving.

SHEILA'S SHEPHERD'S PIE
I have been making this for years, as it is quick and is a complete meal in one dish. I am posting my basic recipe but, if you'd rather have tomato sauce than gravy, try that instead. If you'd like, you can sprinkle about 1/2 cup of your favorite cheese over the potatoes before sprinkling with paprika. And you can also use two 16-oz. bags of frozen mixed vegetables instead of the corn, carrots, and peas, or any leftover vegetables you may have. This is really an incredibly versatile recipe! I would also suggest you check the seasoning before adding the cooked mixture to the baking dish. Both the onion soup mix and gravy have sodium, so taste it before adding salt. If you don't have leftover mashed potatoes, instant potatoes will work fine.

Add the ground beef and McCormick® Original Chili Seasoning, and stir with a wooden spoon to break up the ground beef into small pieces. Add the diced tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes, or until the beef is fully cooked through. Stir in the tomato sauce and salt, and cook for another 2 minutes, until thickened slightly. - Make the mashed potatoes: Peel and quarter the potatoes. Place in a pot and cover with cold water by 1 inch. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and cook until the potatoes are fork-tender, 20-30 minutes. Drain the potatoes and transfer to a large bowl.
- Add sour cream and melted butter to the bowl with the potatoes. Using an electric hand mixer on medium-low speed, whip the potatoes until smooth. Add the half-and-half, McCormick® Garlic Powder, white pepper, and salt, and mix on low speed until combined.
- Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the chili.
- Turn the broiler on high. Broil the shepherd's pie for 10 minutes, or until the top is light golden brown. Serve warm.
