2 ½ pounds lean ground beef
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 ⅓ (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
5 tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1 ¼ teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion salt
2 teaspoons steak sauce
1 quart water

Steps:

Brown the beef lightly.
Place all the ingredients in a crock pot and mix together well. Cook for 12 hours or more on low.

4 TBSP Philadelphia Cream Cheese
2 C Skyline Chili
1/2 C Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Steps:

In a microwave-safe bowl spread cream cheese on bottom of a bowl.
Add in Skyline chili and top with cheese.
Place in microwave for 30 seconds (or until cheese is melted).
Serve with Doritos or tortilla chips for a quick and easy appetizer.

I was hesitant to post because it calls for Cincinnati style chili and I know it isn't available everywhere. But I did see it at Kroger's in Houston, TX so...here it is:) Also, I know there are a few Cincinnati style chili...

1 block of cream cheese (8oz), softened
1 can of skyline chili (10.5oz)
1-2 c shredded mild cheddar cheese

Steps:

1. Spread cream cheese to cover bottom of pie plate or shallow 8x8 dish.
2. Pour chili over cream cheese.
3. Cover with shredded cheddar. Microwave for 3-5 minutes or until cheese is melted. People also cook this in the oven but I never have since the microwave is much faster and usually when I'm making this people are ready to eat it:). Serve with tortilla chips. Enjoy!!

A copycat of Skyline Chili, true Cincinnati chili, except it's less greasy! I combine all the dry spices times ten and keep the "Skyline Spice Mix" in a jar cannister. One batch of chili will use 3/8 cup of spice mix. The spice mix is also tasty as a meat rub for steak, pork and chicken.

2 lbs ground beef
2 cups chopped onions
4 cups beef stock
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
2 -3 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 ounce grated unsweetened chocolate or 2 3/4 tablespoons cocoa
2 teaspoons instant minced garlic
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper or 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 bay leaves or 1/8 teaspoon bay leaf powder
chopped onion (optional)
finely shredded cheddar cheese (certainly NOT optional)
kidney bean (optional)

Steps:

Brown ground beef and onion.
Drain.
Add beef stock to beef mixture and simmer 10 minutes.
Add remaining 13 ingredients, simmer uncovered 1 hour.
Remove bay leaf, skim off extra fat.
Serve over hot spaghetti, or hot dogs in buns for chili dogs.
Top with plenty of cheese and other optional toppings.

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 (13 ounce) package frozen chili or 1 (15 ounce) can skyline chili
1 (8 ounce) package shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup onion, diced (optional)

Steps:

Spread cream cheese on bottom of casserole dish.
Sprinkle diced onions (optional).
Pour Skyline chili over onions (opt.) and cream cheese.
Cover with cheddar cheese.
Conventional oven: Heat at 350 degrees until cheese is bubbling but not brown, about 10 minutes.
Microwave oven: Heat on high for 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Serve warm with Corn chips or Fritos corn chips.

Heat the chili in a small sauce pot over medium heat until steam escapes when you take a spoonful and hold it up. Drain off as much grease as possible. Set aside to cool a bit while you prepare the rest of the ingredients. (If using frozen, cooking according to package directions, then drain off any grease that rises to the surface. Set aside to cool.)
In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese with the half of the tomatoes and chiles, plus the onions until well-combined. Add more tomatoes and chiles, if desired. Spread into an 8"x8" oven safe pan (an offset spatula works great here).
Pour the chili evenly over the cream cheese mixture. Top with the grated cheese, plus the optional garnishes.
