These ground chicken Sloppy Joes are a healthier alternative to regular beef Sloppy Joes.

Steps:
- Spray a pan with cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat. Add chicken, onion, bell pepper, salt, and pepper. Cook and stir until chicken is no longer pink, 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add barbeque sauce, ketchup, 1/4 cup water, and mustard. Mix thoroughly and add more water if the mixture seems too thick. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Serve on hamburger buns topped with Cheddar cheese, pickle slices, and sliced onion.

- In a small saucepan, combine the first 11 ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat. , Place the chicken in a 3-qt. slow cooker. Top with sauce. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or until chicken juices run clear. , Remove chicken to a serving platter; keep warm. Skim fat from cooking juices; transfer to a small saucepan. Bring liquid to a boil. Combine cornstarch and water until smooth. Gradually stir into the pan. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Spoon some of the sauce over chicken and serve the remaining sauce on the side.

SLOPPY MESS BARBECUE CHICKEN
This chicken rocks! Kinda messy but worth it! The sherry gives it a unique flavor. Call your friends over and throw this on the grill! They are sure to like it!!

Steps:
- Put the chicken in a large ziplock bag and prepare marinade.
- Marinade- in a medium bowl stir together the sherry, onion, lemon juice, and garlic.
- Pour over chicken; seal bag.
- Marinate for at least 2 hrs, overnight if possible.
- Flip the bag occasionally.
- Drain chicken, RESERVING marinade.
- Cover and chill chicken until ready to grill.
- For the sauce- in a large saucepan combine the reserved marinade, tomato puree, honey and the molasses, salt, thyme, red pepper, and black pepper.
- Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
- Simmer, uncovered, about 30 minutes or until reduced to 2 cups.
- Remove from heat and stir in vinegar.
- Preheat grill.
- Reduce to medium heat and place chicken bone side down on the grill rack.
- Cover and grill for 50-60 minutes or until tender and no longer pink, brushing with some of the sauce during the last 15 minutes of grilling.
- To serve, reheat and pass the remaining sauce over chicken.
