1 tablespoon smoked paprika
2 tablespoons kosher salt
1 1/2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon ground black pepper (freshly ground is best)
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • Place the sweet paprika, smoked paprika, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, oregano, thyme and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
  • Stir to combine. Use immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.

1 -2 tablespoon cayenne pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon dried ancho chile powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon white pepper
1 1/2 tablespoons onion powder
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons dried thyme
2 teaspoons dried oregano

Steps:

  • Mix it all together.
  • Makes about 1/2 cup of mix.
  • Mix with oil to make a rub for beef, pork, chicken, or fish.
  • Sprinkle a little on salads for a little kick.
