4 bone-in pork chops (1/2 inch thick)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1/2 cup water
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • In a skillet, brown the pork chops in oil. Transfer to a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Combine the remaining ingredients; pour over chops. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour or until meat juices run clear.

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ teaspoons ground paprika
½ teaspoon garlic powder
2 eggs
½ cup milk
½ (16 ounce) package saltine crackers, crushed
½ cup dry potato flakes
½ cup all-purpose flour
4 (3/4 inch) thick pork chops
salt and pepper to taste
1 ½ cups vegetable oil for frying

Steps:

  • In a shallow bowl, mix 1 1/2 cup of flour, paprika, and garlic powder. In a second shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until thoroughly blended. In a third bowl, combine the crushed cracker crumbs, potato flakes, and 1/2 cup of flour.
  • With a fork, prick the pork chops thoroughly to tenderize the meat. Season the chops with salt and pepper.
  • Gently press the pork chops into the flour to coat, and shake off the excess flour. Dip into the beaten egg mixture, then press each chop into the cracker crumb mixture. Gently toss between your hands so any crumbs that haven't stuck can fall away
  • Heat the oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat, and gently place the pork chops into the hot oil. Fry the chops until the meat is no longer pink in the center and the crust is crisp and golden brown, about 5 minutes per side. Remove the chops from the pan, and drain the excess oil on paper towels.

1 (6 ounce) package uncooked wild rice

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Brown pork chops in a medium skillet over medium heat. In a medium bowl combine the soup mix and rice. Mix together and spread in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Lay browned chops on top of rice. Pour water over all, gently. This recipe is what I reach for when I'm tired and don't want to stand over the stove for hours, but still want to serve a really delicious dinner! A bonus is that it's also a lower calorie entree the way I make it. This dish can also be made with chicken instead of pork; either whole pieces, or chunks, simply adjust cooking time accordingly. Serve with rice, pasta or mashed potatoes.

1 teaspoon olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
4 pork chops
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
½ (14.5 ounce) can chicken broth
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add onions and garlic and saute until translucent. Add pork chops and brown about 4 to 6 minutes each side, stirring often to avoid burning onions and garlic.
  • Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, whisk together soup and broth. Pour soup mixture over browned chops, stirring well to loosen onions and garlic and to deglaze skillet. Reduce heat and gently simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring and turning chops occasionally, until chops are cooked through. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve.

4 pork loin chops
salt and pepper
3 tablespoons flour
1 onion, chopped
1 -2 clove crushed garlic
1 stalk celery, finely chopped
10 ounces mushrooms, sliced
2 -3 tablespoons butter
1 can cream of celery soup
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese or 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
chopped parsley, to serve

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Season the flour, put in a plastic bag, add pork chops and coat with the flour Melt half of the butter in a frying pan and brown the chops take them out of the pan and keep warm.
  • Add the rest of the butter to the frying pan, then fry onions and garlic for a few minutes, add the mushrooms, celery and fry another minute until you see the mushrooms releasing their juices.
  • Now add the soup, stir and add the milk mixing everything well.
  • Put a bit of this mixture in an ovenproof dish, then the chops and top with the rest of the soup, sprinkle the cheese over it.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, depending on the thickness of the meat.
  • Serve with chopped parsley sprinkled over it.

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon salt

3 cups chicken broth
2 cups water
2 tablespoons soy sauce
¼ cup flour
3 potatoes, cut into small chunks
1 cup chopped broccoli
1 carrot, diced
1 onion, diced
2 stalks celery, diced

Steps:

  • Place pork chops, paprika, oregano, garlic powder, salt, pepper, chili powder, bay leaf, chicken broth, water, and soy sauce in a large stock pot. Bring to a boil, uncovered, then reduce heat to medium low and let simmer for 1 hour. Remove the pork chops and set aside to cool.
  • Whisk 3/4 cup of the cooking liquid with the flour; set aside. When the pork chops are cool remove and discard any bones or fat. Chop or shred the meat into bite size pieces.
  • Add the potato, broccoli, carrot, onion, celery, and cooked pork back to the pot. Bring the mixture to a boil, stir in the flour mixture. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour. Remove the bay leaf and gently mash the potatoes before serving.

1 (6 ounce) box chicken (any kind...I use store brand) or 1 (6 ounce) box pork stuffing mix (any kind...I use store brand)
1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup (or, your choice...mushroom,celery,etc.)
1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn
1 cup water
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 cup water (OR milk...to mix with soup)
6 ounces shredded cheese (type & amt. your choice...I vary,mozzarella,cheddar,colby..)
salt
pepper
garlic powder

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Place chops in lightly greased 9x13 baking dish. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Mix stuffing with 1 cup water, melted butter and can of corn.
  • Spread stuffing mixture into dish, around and covering chops.
  • Mix soup with 1/2 cup water and pour over stuffing mixture, concentrated mainly over chops.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese over all.
