Apple Sour Bourbon Cocktail image

This apple sour cocktail recipe takes a unique approach with a balance of flavors based on the classic whiskey sour. Use the right mix of ingredients.

1 1/2 ounces bourbon
3/4 ounce triple sec
1 1/4 ounces apple juice
1/4 ounce lemon juice
2 dashes orange bitters

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • In a cocktail shaker , pour the bourbon, triple sec, apple juice, lemon juice, and orange bitters.
  • Shake well .
  • Strain into a chilled old-fashioned glass over fresh ice.
  • Serve and enjoy.

2 cups ice, divided, crushed ice from the machine
4 tablespoons sour apple liqueur
3 tablespoons apple flavored vodka
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons green apple gatorade
2 sour apple rings

Steps:

  • Add 1 cup (150 g) ice to a cocktail shaker. Pour in the sour apple liqueur, apple vodka, green apple sports drink and lemon juice. Shake well.
  • Add ½ cup (75 g) of ice to each of 2 serving glasses. Pour the cocktail over the ice.
  • Insert a straw into each glass and garnish with sour apple rings.
  • Enjoy!

3/4 cup amaretto
4 cups apple cider, chilled
1/4 cup lemon juice
6 lemon slices
6 cinnamon sticks (3 inches)

Steps:

  • Fill six highball glasses with ice. Pour 2 tablespoons amaretto into each. Stir together apple cider and lemon juice until well mixed. Divide evenly among glasses. Serve each with a lemon slice and cinnamon stick.
