  • Add additional water during cooking, if necessary, to keep peanuts covered.

1/2 cup salt
4 cloves garlic (peeled and smashed)
1/3 cup hot sauce
1/4 cup creole seasoning (I use Zatarain's)
10 cups water

Steps:

  • Rinse the peanuts in cool water and place them into the crock of the slow cooker. Add the other ingredients and stir to combine. Cover and cook on low for 20 to 24 hours. Discard liquid and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
