French bread topped with cheese, bell pepper and green onion - perfect for a Southwest-style appetizer made ready in just 15 minutes!

- Heat oven to 400°.
- Mix all ingredients except bread and cheese. Spread on one side of each bread slice. Sprinkle with cheese. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

- Place corn in a food processor or blender; cover and process until coarsely chopped. Set aside. In a bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, baking soda and salt. , In a small bowl, combine the egg, egg whites, milk and oil. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Add the cheese, chilies and corn., Pour into a 9-in. square baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve warm.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cheese. In another large bowl, beat together egg, milk and oil. Stir the flour/cheese mixture into the egg mixture, stirring until just moistened. Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of loaf comes out clean.

This is great appetizer cheesecake. Feeds a bunch. Serve it with tortilla chips and celery sticks. Cook time includes chill time.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 325.
- Stir together chips and margarine and press into a 9-inch springform pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Beatg cream cheese and eggs in large bowl at medium speed until well blended.
- Stir in the co-jack cheese and the chilis and pour over crust.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Cool completely.
- Spread sour cream over cheese cake and sprinkle on toppings.
- Chill 1-2 hours.
- Remove from cake pan after chilling.
- Let sit out to"soften" a little or you'll break your tortilla chips!
- before serving.
- Serve on platter surrounded by tortilla chips and celery sticks.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Make a V-shaped cut in each roll, leaving the ends intact. Lift out V-shaped wedge. Hollow out rolls gently to make shallow bread bowls, being careful not to cut through the bottom or sides. Place bread bowls on the prepared baking sheet.
- Whisk eggs in a bowl. Add milk; whisk until well blended. Stir in green chile peppers, Cheddar cheese, pepper Jack cheese, paprika, and salt. Pour mixture slowly into the prepared rolls, spreading evenly with a spoon.
- Bake in the preheated oven until egg mixture is completely set and cheese is lightly browned, about 30 minutes. Cool for 3 minutes before serving.

- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Dust buttered sides with seasonings to taste.
- Build sandwich in this order: cheese, tomatoes, onions, olives, remaining slice of bread buttered side out.
- Grill over low to medium low heat until bread gets golden brown and cheese starts to melt.
- Carefully flip sandwich and brown other side.
- Let sit for a few moments before cutting.
- Eat and enjoy!
- Do try to find the Thomas' corn bread if you like corn bread; it is slightly sweet and crumbly like regular corn bread and oh is it good!

Make 4 (1/8-inch-deep) diagonal cuts across tops of loaves. Dust loaves with flour. Cover and let rise 45 minutes or until doubled in bulk. Bake at 375° for 25 minutes or until loaves sound hollow when tapped; let cool on wire racks.
