1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
2 teaspoons sugar
3/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
12 frozen fully cooked Italian turkey meatballs, thawed and quartered
1 package (13-1/4 ounces) whole grain thin spaghetti
12 taco shells
3/4 cup shredded reduced-fat Italian cheese blend
Thinly sliced fresh basil, optional

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, combine the first nine ingredients; stir in meatballs. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 20-25 minutes to allow flavors to blend, stirring occasionally., Meanwhile, in another saucepan, cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain and return to pan. Remove 1-1/2 cups sauce from meatball mixture; add to spaghetti and toss to coat., Heat taco shells according to package directions. Place 1/2 cup spaghetti in each taco shell; top with meatball mixture and cheese. If desired, sprinkle with fresh basil.

12 ounces uncooked spaghetti
1 pound ground beef
1 envelope taco seasoning
3/4 cup water
1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (10 ounces) diced tomatoes and green chiles, undrained
2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend, divided
2/3 cup salsa

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Break spaghetti into thirds; cook according to package directions for al dente., Meanwhile, in a Dutch oven, cook beef over medium heat 6-8 minutes or until no longer pink, breaking into crumbles; drain. Stir in taco seasoning and water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes, stirring occasionally., Stir in beans, tomatoes, 1 cup cheese and salsa. Drain spaghetti; add to beef mixture and toss to combine., Transfer to a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Bake, covered, 20 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake, uncovered, 3-5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Freeze option: Cool unbaked casserole; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Cover and freeze. To use, partially thaw in refrigerator overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Preheat oven to 350°. Bake casserole, covered, 55-60 minutes or until heated through and a thermometer inserted in center reads 165°.

My kids both love iCarly. As with so many others, they saw the episode where they were eating Spaghetti Tacos and begged me to make them. This was my attempt at them, and I have to say, we were all pretty impressed with them!

1 lb ground beef or 1 lb ground turkey
1 (1 1/4 ounce) packet taco seasoning
1 cup water
1 (26 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
1 (8 ounce) box spaghetti noodles
12 hard taco shells
salsa (optional)
cheddar cheese (optional)
lettuce (optional)

Steps:

  • Prepare noodles according to package directions. Drain and return to pot.
  • Brown meat in pan until no longer pink. Add taco seasoning and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-6 minutes, until sauce thickens. Add spaghetti sauce and cook until warmed. Add to noodles and mix thoroughly.
  • To assemble the tacos, place a spoonful of salsa in the shell. Sprinkle with a small amount of cheese. Finally, finish filling the shell with spaghetti. Add lettuce on top, if desired.
  • Very messy, but very yummy!

  • Break pasta in half and prepare per package instructions, about 7 minutes. Bring a large skillet sprayed with nonstick spray to medium-high heat on the stove. 1 (28 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
1 (5.8 ounce) package crisp taco shells
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil over high heat. Once the water is boiling, stir in the angel hair pasta, and return to a boil. Cook the pasta uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the pasta has cooked through, but is still firm to the bite, 4 to 5 minutes. Drain well in a colander set in the sink.
  • Return the pasta to the pot, and pour the sauce over the pasta; mix thoroughly until reheated. Place the taco shells into a microwave oven in a stack, and fan the stack out to a circular shape so the edges of the taco shells overlap slightly. 8 oz Kraft™ Velveeta™ pasteurized prepared cheese product, cut in 1/2-inch cubes

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. Cook spaghetti to al dente as directed on package.
  • In 5-quart Dutch oven, cook beef and onion over medium heat 8 to 9 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown; drain. Stir in taco seasoning mix, water, chiles and cumin; stir until well blended. Cook 1 to 2 minutes or until slightly thickened. 1/2 lb thin spaghetti noodles
1/2 lb ground beef
2 tablespoons taco seasoning, low sodium
1 (8 ounce) jar taco sauce
1 cup shredded cheese (we used cheddar jack)
1 (16 ounce) jar salsa
12 crunchy taco shells

Steps:

  • Brown the ground beef.
  • Drain and season with the taco seasoning and add the taco sauce to make a sort of spaghetti sauce.
  • While you are cooking the meat cook up the spaghetti noodles.
  • Once the meat and sauce is done mix in the drained noodles.
  • Heat the shells per the package directions.
