5 -10 fresh spearmint
1 cup boiling water
1 -3 teaspoon lemon juice
brown sugar

Steps:

  • Set water to boil.
  • While water is heating get spearmint and crush in a mortar with a little hot water.
  • Put leaves, water, and lemon juice in mug.
  • Let steep, and then add brown sugar to taste.
  • Enjoy!

1 1/2 quarts water
1 lemon
1 small bunch fresh mint, leaves only

Steps:

  • Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Meanwhile, peel the lemon, leaving the bitter white pith on the lemon and only removing the yellow peel.
  • Add the lemon peel and mint leaves to the boiling water, stir once and boil for 1 minute. Strain tea into teacups and serve hot, passing sugar if desired.

1 pound white candy coating, coarsely chopped
3/4 cup crushed spearmint candy (4 ounces)

Steps:

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt candy coating at 70% power for 45 seconds; stir. Microwave at additional 15-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Stir in spearmint candy. , Spread onto a waxed paper-lined baking sheet. Chill for 8-10 minutes. Bread into small pieces; store in airtight containers.

1 (12 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
1 fresh lemon
1 ¼ cups white sugar
½ cup fresh mint leaves

Steps:

  • Pour the lemonade concentrate into a large pitcher or cooler with a spout. Stir in enough water to make 1 gallon. Grate the zest from the lemon and add to the pitcher, then squeeze the lemon juice from the lemon into the pitcher. In a small bowl, crush the mint leaves into the sugar using a muddler or a wooden spoon. Stir into the lemonade. Cover and chill for several hours, then strain to remove the leaves and zest before serving. Serve over ice and garnish with a sprig of mint.
