Garlic Butter Steak Bites image

These seared Garlic Butter Steak Bites pack so much flavor and are so easy to throw together! The best part? They're ready in 15 minutes!

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 ½ pound sirloin steak (cut into bite size pieces, or strip loin, tenderloin, strip steak or rib eye)
½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
½ teaspoon pepper (or to taste)
2 tablespoon butter (unsalted)
4 cloves garlic (minced)
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon parsley (fresh, chopped)

Steps:

  • Add the olive oil to a large skillet and heat it over high heat. Make sure the olive oil is hot, then add the steak pieces to it. Season them generously with salt and pepper.
  • Cook for at least 2 minutes before stirring the steak pieces. You want to make sure you get a good sear on them. Continue cooking for another 2 minutes until they're golden brown. If your skillet isn't big enough, you may need to do this batches.
  • Transfer the steak bites to a plate and in the same skillet add the butter. Turn the heat down to a medium and after the butter has melted, add the garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for about 30 seconds while stirring, just until the garlic becomes aromatic and starts to brown.
  • Pour the garlic butter over the steak bites and toss well. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Spicy Garlic Butter Steak Bites image

A quick 15-minute spicy garlic butter steak bites recipe by savouring your steak in bite-size that's coated with spicy and garlicky flavours.

2 tbsp Kewpie Mayo
500 g Steak (Sirloin / Flat Iron / Ribeye)
1 tsp Paprika
2 tbsp Butter
4 cloves Garlic (finely chopped)
1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
20 g Fresh Coriander Leaves (chopped)
1 tsp Sea Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper

Steps:

  • Cut steak into bite-size cubes. Season generously with sea salt, black pepper and paprika. Toss with kewpie mayo until fully coated right before cooking.
  • Heat pan over high heat. Add in mayo-coated steak cubes and allow the sides to sear until golden brown, roughly 2 minutes on each side. Transfer to plate and set aside.
  • In the same pan, along with any remaining juices, melt butter and add in both garlic and red pepper flakes. Saute for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and starting to crisp up.
  • Return the steak cubes into the pan. Stir-fry for a minute until combined.
  • Add in coriander leaves. Toss to combine and cook for another 30 seconds. Serve immediately.
