SPICY BAKED SWEET POTATO FRIES
These are so tasty your family won't believe they are eating healthy! Nothing this good for you should taste so good...or be this easy to cook. These are delicious plain, but may be dipped in honey mustard sauce, ketchup, or even guacamole.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- In a plastic bag, combine the sweet potatoes, canola oil, taco seasoning, and cayenne pepper. Close and shake the bag until the fries are evenly coated. Spread the fries out in a single layer on two large baking sheets.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until crispy and brown on one side. Turn the fries over using a spatula, and cook for another 30 minutes, or until they are all crispy on the outside and tender inside. Thinner fries may not take as long.

- Cut potatoes into wedges or slices and lightly spray a baking sheet with fat-free oil.
- Place potato wedges or slices in a plastic bag with spices and half of the oil, then toss to cover all.
- Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes turning and brushing often with the remaining oil.
- Broil about 5 minutes turning after 3 minutes.

- Peel and cut the sweet potato and turnip into 1/4" strips.
- Place in a bowl and sprinkle with the combined salt, chili powder and olive oil, turning to coat thoroughly.
- Spread in one layer on a foil-lined cookie sheet with sides.
- Bake 375 degrees, 12-15 minutes. Turn and bake an additional 12-15 minutes. Test to make sure they are cooked through.

Meanwhile, cook 1/2 thinly sliced onion, 1 tablespoon hot paprika and 1 teaspoon salt in 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring, 4 minutes. Add 1 minced garlic clove and cook 2 more minutes. Remove from the heat and add 3 chopped scallions and 2 tablespoons chopped parsley. Add the fries and toss to coat.

- Select 2-3 russet potatoes.
- Leave skins on as well but wash to remove any sand etc.
- Cut into wedges,by cutting in half and cutting again in 1/4 (depends on size of potatoe).
- Rinse 3 times till water is clear.
- Dry on a tea towell.Put into a bowl,sprinkle the oil onto potatoes.
- Add the dry ingrediants and combine all together with potatoes.
- Place parchmount paper on a cookie sheet .
- Spread potatoes on the parchmount paper.
- Bake in oven at 450 degrees about 30 minutes(depends on amount of potatoes being done).
