Steps:
- Put ice cubes into a blender and blend until crushed.
- Add berries, almondmilk and almond butter and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.
- *You can substitute 1 cup frozen (not thawed) whole strawberries for the fresh berries. Leave out the ice if you use frozen berries.

STRAWBERRY PEANUT BUTTER SMOOTHIE
Super sweet, thick, and creamy, this Strawberry Peanut Butter Smoothie is quite a delicious treat. It's very nutritious, packed with fruity flavors and so easy to whip up. Also, it has no added sugars. Perfect healthy breakfast.

Steps:
- Add all ingredients into blender. Note: add wet ingredients first for easier blending. Also, add in ice cubes, if using.
- Mix everything at high speed until you get a smooth silky texture.
- If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more liquid - milk or water. Blend again until everything is well combined.
- Taste the smoothie and add additional sweetener if the smoothie is not sweet enough. (See "Useful tips" section for sweetener recommendation)
- Transfer the smoothie into a smoothie glass.
- ADD TOPPINGS: I used bee pollen and goji berries. Be creative here and add toppings you like.
- Serve and enjoy!

- Put everything into a blender and blend until your preferred consistency.
- I typically buy my fruits and vegetables frozen because I find it easier to just have them on hand - and this way I'm not dealing with stuff going bad before I'm able to use it. But, when buying frozen fruits, make sure that there is no added sugar. This will just lead to a sugar crash. I use Blue Diamond Almond Milk and Coconut Milk blend because I like the flavor of coconut milk, but regular almond milk is great, too.
- The almond butter is a great source of protein and healthy saturated fat. This will both provide you with energy and help you to feel full later into the day.

- In a medium saucepan, combine the strawberries, maple syrup, and sea salt over medium-high heat. At first it will seem like there isn't enough liquid to keep the strawberries from burning, but within a minute or two the strawberries will release their juices. Bring to a simmer, reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until the strawberries begin to break down, stirring occasionally.
- Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender. If you don't have a high-speed blender, I recommend using a food processor instead (this is what I do). Blend on high until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides as frequently as needed. Since this is a thicker smoothie, you'll need to stop more frequently to keep things moving (especially if you use a blender).
- Pour about 2/3's of the the Strawberry Jam into the bottom of a jar or glass (or divide between two), pour the Almond Butter Smoothie over top, and then top with the remaining jam. Use the pointy end of a chopstick to gently stir and swirl the jam into the smoothie, pulling it up and down through the smoothie layer. Sink a straw in, and serve immediately.
