STRAWBERRY BASIL MARGARITA

Steps:

• In a shaker, muddle the strawberries, basil, lime juice and simple syrup.
• Add the tequila, Cointreau and maraschino liqueur and fill the shaker with ice, then shake until well-chilled.
• Double-strain into a Margarita glass or rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
• Garnish with an additional basil leaf and a lime wheel.

STRAWBERRY BASIL MARGARITA

Steps:

• Combine the strawberries, tequila, orange-flavored liqueur, lemon juice, sugar, and basil leaves in a blender; mix on low until smooth. Add the ice and puree until the ice is crushed, 30 to 60 seconds.

STRAWBERRY BASIL MARGARITA SUMMER COCKTAIL

Steps:

• Pour about 1/4 cup of kosher salt onto a small side plate. Rub the juiced lime rhine around the edge of two rocks glasses, then dip each glass into the plate of salt to rim the edges. Fill each glass with crushed ice or several ice cubs.
• Place the strawberries, tequila, cointreau, lime juice and honey into a blender. Blend thoroughly on high until the strawberries are pulverized. Finely chop the basil and place into the bottom of a decanter or cocktail shaker. Muddle the basil to release the flavors and oils. Pour the blended margarita ingredients into the decanter along with the muddle basil and stir vigorously to incorporate. Pour into salted, iced glasses and serve immediately.

STRAWBERRY BASIL MARGARITA

Steps:

• Put strawberries, 1 sprig of basil, the lime juice and the simple syrup in a cocktail shaker or a jar with a large opening. Muddle (this means smoosh) the strawberries and the basil until they are broken up well. If you don't have an official muddler, the back of a fork will do just fine.
• Add the tequila and some ice, put the lid on the shaker or your jar and shake shake shake. Shake one more time for good luck.
• Pour the contents into your favorite glass, garnish with that other basil sprig and say cheers!

STRAWBERRY BASIL MARGARITA

Steps:

• To a blender add 1 pint fresh strawberries, 1/4 cup fresh basil, juice of 1 lime, and honey. Blend until pureed.
• To a pitcher, combine strawberry puree, 3/4 cup tequila and 1/4 cup orange liqueur. Stir and mix well.
• Pour over ice when ready to serve. Garnish with extra basil if desired.

SPICY STRAWBERRY MARGARITA

Steps:

• Dip half of the rim of 4 margarita glasses in the simple syrup, then dip in the coarse salt. Set aside.
• In a blender, combine the ice, halved strawberries, watermelon, tequila, lime juice, triple sec, simple syrup and Fresno chile. Blend until frothy. Pour into your prepared margarita glasses, garnish each with a thinly sliced strawberry if desired and enjoy immediately!

STRAWBERRY MARGARITA

Steps:

• Combine in a blender, ice, strawberry water, tequila, lime juice, Triple Sec and simple syrup. Puree until smooth. Pour into rocks glasses and serve.

STRAWBERRY BASIL MARGARITA

Steps:

• Combine first five ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake.
• Pour into a 10-ounce old-fashioned glass. Garnish with the basil sprig. Do not salt the rim.

FROZEN STRAWBERRY-BASIL MARGARITA

Steps:

• Moisten rim of 1 cocktail glass with lime wedge. If desired, sprinkle sugar on a plate; dip rim in sugar., Place tequila, Triple Sec, lime juice, strawberries and basil in a blender; cover and process until smooth. Pour into prepared glass. Garnish with lime wedge, strawberries and additional basil leaves if desired.

STRAWBERRY BASIL MARGARITAS

Steps:

• In blender, place 1 cup strawberries, the tequila, liqueur, lemon juice and sugar. Cover; blend on high speed until strawberries are pureed. Add ice. Cover; blend 30 to 60 seconds longer or until ice is crushed. Add basil leaves. Cover; blend until basil is finely chopped and mixture is well blended.
• Pour into 2 margarita glasses. Garnish each with 1 basil sprig and 1 strawberry. Serve immediately.
