Crescent rolls with cheesecake and strawberry pie filling, topped with more crescent rolls, and finished with a dusting of sugar. This is a super easy recipe to wow your guests for brunch or dessert

2 8 oz cans refrigerated crescent rolls
8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
1 1/4 cup sugar (divided)
1 egg (separated)
1 tsp vanilla extract
21 oz strawberry pie filling
whipped cream

Steps:

  • Spray the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish. Unroll one can of crescent dough into the baking dish. Press seams to seal well.
  • In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla. Spread cream cheese mixture over dough.
  • Spoon strawberry pie filling over cream cheese. Unroll remaining crescent roll dough over strawberry pie filling (optional: unroll on a greased cookie sheet, press seams well, and then place on top of strawberry pie filling).
  • Beat egg white until frothy in a small bowl and brush over top of danish. Sprinkle evenly with remaining sugar.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until dough is golden brown. Cool completely before slicing and serving!

Steps:

  • Start by placing your cream cheese in a large mixing bowl.
  • Blend on high until fluffy.
  • Add sugar, egg yolk, lemon juice, and vanilla.
  • Blend on high until smooth.
  • Roll out crescent rolls.
  • Spread cream cheese mixture on top of each crescent roll.
  • Place a teaspoon of strawberry ice cream topping on top of cream cheese mixture.

These strawberry cream cheese crescent rolls are made quickly and easily with the convenience of store-bought rolls and a super simple filling of sweet strawberries and cream cheese!

8 refrigerated crescent rolls
4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup strawberry jam
1/2 cup fresh strawberries (diced)
Additional powdered sugar for topping

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  • In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla extract together until smooth.
  • Dice strawberries into small pieces.
  • Lay out crescent roll dough triangles on a baking sheet
  • Spoon about one tablespoon of cream cheese mixture onto each triangle and spread evenly.
  • Next, spoon about a teaspoon of jam onto each triangle and carefully spread on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  • Then spoon about a tablespoon of diced strawberries onto the large end of the triangle.
  • Starting at the large end, gently roll each triangle all the down to the tip.
  • Make sure the small triangle tip is on the top of the roll.
  • Bake for 15 minutes
  • Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with additional powdered sugar
  • Then transfer to a wire cooling rack.

1 tube crescent rolls

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350˚F (175˚C).
  • In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until well-incorporated.
  • Gently fold half of the strawberries into the mixture.
  • Open the crescent rolls and separate into individual triangles.
  • Drop one tablespoon of the mixture onto the wide end of the triangle and roll, starting at the wide edge.

16 ounces crescent dough sheets (2 (8 ounce) packages, 12 crescents total)
1½ cups fresh strawberries (chopped)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
½ cup sugar
½ cup water
2 Tablespoons cornstarch
8 ounces cream cheese softened
½ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
½ cup powdered sugar
2 Tablespoons heavy cream
⅛ teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and 1/4 cup water.
  • Bring strawberry mixture to a boil and continue cooking for 6-8 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together remaining water and cornstarch. Slowly add mixture to saucepan, and reduce heat to low. Simmer until strawberry mixture has thickened (about 2-3 minutes)
  • Remove from heat, and set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, beat together cream cheese filling ingredients with hand mixer until combined.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • On a greased baking sheet, roll out each crescent roll.
  • Top dough with 1 Tablespoon cream cheese filling, and 1 Tablespoon strawberry filling.

  • Preheat the oven to 375° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, mix cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice and vanilla. Cream until there are no lumps. Unroll each crescent roll. On the fattest part of the triangle place 1 tsp on cream cheese mixture and one tsp of jam. Roll into a croissant shape. I was trying to find something to snack on one night, and I remembered reading another recipe about strawberries dipped in brown sugar, so I came up with this. Amounts are approximate, since you really just dip the cut sides of the strawberries in the sugar, and spread cream cheese on crackers... so it depends on how much sugar and cream cheese you like. This is the first recipe I have published on here, mostly because it's the kind of easy thing I like to find on the site and I didn't see anything like it.

1 tablespoon light brown sugar

  • Put brown sugar into small bowl or plate. Press cut side of each strawberry into the brown sugar, then press each slice lightly onto cream cheese coated crackers.
